Have a look at the Dethroner Planning Commission, of which each of you are a potential member. It’s a simple wiki, where I’ve listed potential themes as well as a place to make the daily posting template more concrete and robust.

As we flesh out each of the potential themes—each one has their own page on the wiki—we can begin to move them into the scheduled themes section.

If you take a look at the potential themes section, it’s pretty clear we’ve got plenty of themes lined up for the next several months, so it’s really about digging in and fleshing each one out enough to promote it to “scheduled”: adding potential subjects; links to pages; associated products; tracking down experts and guest bloggers; planning five days of posting schedules; lining up interviews; developing poll questions. Obviously, that’s yeoman’s work and I certainly don’t expect you to do all of it (or any of it if it doesn’t interest you); by the same token, if you’ve got just one good idea, feel free to punch it in. The same goes for potential theme ideas.

I’ll be using this wiki as my planning area from here on out, so feel free to consider it the permanent home of the Planning Commission. Have at!
