1 Comment Published by Joel February 14th, 2008 in Movies, Romance. Share ThisSure, Indy is moving around like Bionic Commando, but I do not give any measure of shit. This looks awesome. Now to find a woman who will dress up as She-Wolf Cate Blanchett for the premiere.

Andrew M. Cuomo said the arrests served as a message that “organized crime still exits. . . . We like to think it’s a vestige of the past. It’s not. It is as unrelenting as weeds that continue to sprout in the cracks of society.

Bond Actress Lois Maxwell Passes On
0 Comments Published by Joel October 1st, 2007 in Movies, Women. Share ThisLois Maxwell, the original Miss Moneypenny, has died at age 80. BBC News has a tribute from Roger Moore, who knew Maxwell even before he took over the role of James Bond.
I think it was a great disappointment to her that she had not been promoted to play M. She would have been a wonderful [...]
In a nod to an icon, NASA Shuttle to Launch Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber. This makes me sad because it reminds me that Carrie Fisher’s breasts are no longer in the same pristine (and perky) condition. [www.space.com]

Gay Superhero Porno Candid Shots
4 Comments Published by Joel August 9th, 2007 in Movies, Sex. Share ThisWhen I first looked at this pictures snapped surreptiously by a member of the ClubRSX forum I thought, Gosh, I don’t remember Superman looking quite so fabulous. And that’s saying a lot for a hero who wears a cape. But when I saw Spidey dropping to give Venom a little oral pleasure, I knew something [...]
No Country for Old Men looks like it could be a plodding, kooky murder bit with typical cornball bad guys going up against the tough-as-nails cowboy. But it’s directed by the Coen brothers, who could make it all work.
And lo, it is sort of terrible. Which is to say, as a film it ranks somewhere between Star Wars: Episode I and a moldy bread pudding. There is an entire subplot with a group of hackers and John Turturro that could be excised from its two-hour-plus running time and no one would be the [...]
Morning Tonic: Gay for Transformers
34 Comments Published by Joel June 28th, 2007 in Movies. Share ThisWe went out to dinner with our neighbors the other day and ended up discussing movies; the topic turned to the upcoming Transformers flick. Our friends aren’t particularly snobby or anything, but they expressed disbelief that I could be so excited about such an obvious rock ‘em schlock ‘em robots adventure. Susie reminded me that [...]
