BeerJunction.com: Social Networking for Beer… People

I just got an alert telling me about Beer Junction, which aims to be some sort of social networking site for beer lovers, although I can’t tell if it’s supposed to just be for beer drinkers or for homebrewers or both. They claim both in their welcome email, but the site says “Where Homebrewers Come Together.” It also seems that it might have once been named “Keg Space.” Oh, and from what I can tell, there are only five members.

But besides that it looks great! Except that I don’t know that a broad beer social network is very useful when sites like Beer Advocate already have robust—perhaps definitive—beer communities, full of listings for almost every type of beer. And let’s face it, I care about the beer a lot more than I care about the other beer drinkers.
