Thieving Bastard of the Day: Francois the Raccoon

We just got back from a long weekend in the woods, where we hiked up a waterfall, photographed mushrooms, and tried to outwit this raccoon, who ended up being more clever than we. Here he is eating my hot dog bun, which he had plucked from the cooler despite it being shut and weighted down by a huge log. Fortunately the second time he came back I wasn’t as quick with my camera—it turned out not to be the raccoon, but a fat, camper-fed skunk.
