This week we came across a portable frame that slides into your gutters to transfer ladder weight directly to the house, preventing it from crushing your gutters (and pissing you off.) We also looked at a ten-in-one gauge for woodworkers that measures everything from dovetails to dowel diameters and slips right in your apron pocket and an inexpensive set of plans to help you build your own full-featured chop saw table. But our favorite this week: a reader-submitted how-to detailing the ins and outs of BBQ-ing South African style complete with photos and recipes. (Extra points for building your own “braai”—what they call an open-pit BBQ grill!)
