Weight Loss Wednesday: Week 4

week_4.jpgSorry for the blurry picture this week. It was particularly gloomy this morning, so I guess the exposure went longer than normal. Next time I’ll try to find a tripod, or at least some surface to place the camera on.

Another slow week this time, probably because I went a little overboard Friday night and ingested entirely too many calories and carbs in the form of delicious beer—a double IPA I brewed a while back, and some Rogue Imperial Pilsner, if you must know. I had hoped that working the cardio more regularly (though admittedly, still not as regularly as I’d like) would counterbalance Friday’s indulgence, but it didn’t work out that way. No big deal, I just need to watch the cheats more closely. It’s all a learning process.

Slow week or not, it is party time! I’ve reached the first major milestone on this journey to skinnyland: Twenty Pounds Down! It won’t be much of a party without food and beer, but it’s a party in my heart. And you’re invited. Watch you don’t knock the (arterial) plaques off the walls. Despite the slow showing on the scale, I was able to count another whole inch of the belly:
