Morning Tonic: 1973 Southwest Airlines Stewardess

I understand times are tough for the airlines. They have to cut costs wherever they can manage. I propose a return to the flight attendant outfits of our recent past, such as these miniskirts and short-short numbers from Southwest Airlines of the early ’70s. As you can see after the jump—along with a trio of Pacific Southwest Airlines stewardess beckoning you to their space age bosoms—there’s no down side to this proposal: shorter skirts mean less fabric costs, less transported weight, and a cabin so happy even terrorists would fly beatifically to their destination savoring every minute.
