My Janky 5-Volt USB Charger

I finally completed my 9-Volt USB Charger using Aaron’s Electroids kit. I figured the battery didn’t need to be in the case, as it will usually be removed and disposed of after use. What I didn’t anticipate is what happens to a switch when you go crazy with the hot glue gun. Fortunately, I seem to have glued it in the off position. My new multimeter is reading a 5-volt output from the USB port, so it looks like I’m good to go!

Despite the fact that my soldering skills appear to be getting worse, I have a homebrew project of my own that I’ll start digging in on next week. A magical one.
