Clips: Aussie Inventor Builds “Advance Wars” Scale Sherman Tank

Intrepid Aussie inventor builds his own two-fifths scale Sherman tank and films a lot of the build process for our enjoyment. What a nice guy! The custom transmission is especially impressive, made from just a few pulleys and folded and bolted seat belt webbing.

Part five is above—I love the Andrew Sisters song—while the rest of the parts are below. If I had a lick of ingenuity (and a workshop), this would be one bad-ass Playa-mobile at Burning Man. (I’d paint mine pink, though. And it would shoot drugs.)
