Flying Free As A Bird: Naked Air

Posted in: Travel

nakedairlogo02.jpgIt’s no bullshit: a few years ago some intrepid nudists actually chartered Boeing 737 and set up a special event they called “Naked Air”.

The flight took off from Miami for Cancun, Mexico to attend the first ever Nude Week at the El Dorado Resort & Spa.

General and obvious warning – the links here lead to a commemorative site of the inaugural flight, including photos of people without clothing on. And most of them you may prefer not to see naked, never mind the not-safe-for-work thing.

By the way, this does not get filed under the ’sex” category, because nudists are very insistent that nudism is not about getting it on with lots of other people. To quote the FAQ, this flight was…

a chance to fly nude and make a little history in the process. The flight was a lot of fun to be sure…but any sexually suggestive behavior or advances to any other passengers would have been inappropriate for this flight, and absolutely forbidden. This rule was well known by all of our passengers in advance of booking would have been strictly enforced, if necessary… but it wasn’t. Nudists are nude… not lewd!
