I’ll Need This On My Desk By Five: Send Us Your Tips

As a fledgling web site with a community of… Well, let’s see, there’s you, Mom. And I think my sysadmin is still reading, although he won’t be once he finds a pejorative reference to “UNIX beards” on the site.

Anyway. We need you. I need you. I’m perfectly content to write about what interests me, but one of things I love most about writing on the internet is the instant interaction I can have with everyday experts and casual, drive-by antagonists.

These are the things we’d love to get from you this week:

• Tips, be they about this week’s theme (fall fashion) or anything else. (See that sidebar labelled “Asides”? That’s for non-theme blips.)
• Pictures of outfits about which you are uncertain. Not sure if that silk sash goes with that pair of coveralls? Snap a picture of the outfit, either on your person or laid out on a bed, and we’ll put it online to tap the collective critical ability of the Dethroner audience.
• Your questions about style or fashion, for our weekly Q&A.
• Suggestions for your least favorite fashion item of the moment—the sort of thing that will be a defining, embarrassing artifact of this year—for our upcoming feature, “I Hate the ’00s.”
• Anything else!
