For some reason I’ve always wanted a Bacon Press. Will it work? How many slices of bacon fit under it? If they are so great, how come Williams-Sonoma never has one when I ask?

These mysteries have plagued me and perhaps it is memories of my bar-mitzvah that hold me back from buying one… has anyone tried a bacon press? Does it really do the job? I have no problem getting thick, crispy pieces of bacon out of the frying pan — but I guess it could be easier.

For the OCD bacon eater in your life, because straight, flat bacon = better bacon.

Wow. My wife got me this Bacon Press over the weekend… it worked AMAZINGLY well. Requires more time to cook the bacon, as the press needs to heat up too – but WOW.
