Another hat-tip to Ryan @ Brewers Daily for discovering “Mamma Mia Pizza Beer.”
HERE AT LAST! The wait is OVER! Friday, February 8th, 2008 marks the day that The Original Seefurth Family Mamma Mia Pizza Beer hit the street. Brewed and bottled at the Sprecher Brewing Company just outside of Milwaukee, WI, Sprecher is already offering 16 ounce bottles for sale in their gift shop.
I’ve had a lot of beer with pizza and my local pizza parlor adds beer to the sauce, but this is truly integration at its finest. I wonder how it tastes?

Sprecher makes some quality beer, it might be good.
They at least know beer & cheese in Wisconsin, and Chicago ain’t far
Ha! It is good. Just had some Thai food & it goes great with the spice & sweet Spring Rolls…
I’d love to find a way to get some hot wings in there, too.
I had the pleasure of trying this brew this past summer at the taste of the midwest beer festival in Madison. It was amazingly awesome. I’m hoping some of my pals in WI can ship some to Detroit for me.
