Geez, I remember these commercials when they aired, it all seemed so futuristic back then.

Andre: I was thinking the same thing, I’m pretty sure it’s her.

Also, anyone else recognize the black doctor around the 1:09 mark? I know I’ve seen him in things since then, but I can’t remeber where to look up his name. It’s not Chiwetel Ejiofor is it?

I know no one cares about this stuff, but trivia can be fun.

In the 3rd commercial in that clip, in the hospital scene, you can hear the beginnings of an audio clip that must be the most used hospital “stock footage” clip in existence – “Dr. Davis, telephone please. Dr. Davis, telephone please.”

This same audio clip is in the intro to Motley Crue’s “Dr. Feelgood,” the intro track on the Queensryche album “Operation Mindcrime,” probably a ton of other albums, and is played in nearly every episode of every medical television show I’ve ever seen. It’s in television and radio commercials constantly. Listen for it and you’ll hear it everywhere.
