I have no idea if this is any good, but I am a huge fan of my Cuisinart 2 Quart Ice Cream Machine — when Carolyn gave this to me as an anniversary present I was a bit confused. I thought maybe it was something we’d never use — WRONG! It is brilliant.
Fresh, home-made ice cream tastes wonderful. Ben and Jerry’s have a great book out that makes ice cream making simple. I love organic smooth peanut butter ice cream.

The famous Austin-based Amy’s Ice Cream once had a Guiness flavor for a while. It was delicious. If you can get your hands on something like that, I highly recommend it.
