I love Bourdain. His books & shows are just amazing. Really opened my eyes to food writing and got me excited about travel stuff for the first time since I’d read Bruce Chatwin long, long ago.

I have a Bruce Chatwin book sitting in my “To Read” pile. I’d never even heard of him and don’t know where I got the book. Now I’m more excited to read it!

Dude, Bruce Chatwin is the Grandpappy of all travel writers. Highly recommended are In Patagonia & his book on the Aborigines of Australia.

In other words, yes he’s awesome.
