		<description>I understand why Fox went in this direction, but I think they went a little too far. You need someone who attracts new fans without alienating your core audience. 

Dennis Miller (presumably available, since he appears on Fox News) would have been a better choice. 

Jimmy Kimmel (possibly not available any more) would have been better still. 

Or let me borrow a page from Howard Cosell, who suggested at one point that Bill Cosby would be a perfect addition to ABC&#039;s Monday Night Football telecast. 

And if you&#039;re going to go to American Idol for talent, why not Randy Jackson?</description>
