The one time I was in Japan I almost came home with a guitar shaped like a machine gun. I still regret not purchasing that. This custom “Sword Angel” guitar on sale at eBay would ease the pain slightly, but when I search my pockets for a spare nine grand all I find is lint and tiny hand-written notes that say “You sort of suck at playing the guitar.”
Here is an absolutely awesome sword guitar from the ESP Custom Shop. It was custom made for the Alfee’s guitar player Takamizawa. This is an awesome one of a kind guitar.
The Alfee is one of the biggest rock acts in Japan and Takamizawa is well known for his Angel and other Gothic themed guitars.

Wait a sec. So this is not only a guitar shaped like a sword, but a guitar, shaped like a sword, shaped like an eagle? (Those are wings, right?) Mythical phallus of Zeus, that’s just too much penis symbolism in one place for me. I don’t think I could touch that thing without feeling gay.
This thing is wicked cool looking. I immediately jumped over to eBay thinking I could out bid you, but alas it’s a “Buy It Now” auction for $9,000!!!

it looks like a replica of a kit rae sword. He makes fantasy swords. I think it is the swords of darkness or of light or something like that. It sure is cool looking. Like nothing ive ever seen before. I wonder if you would hurt yourself trying to play a ripping solo?
