Things have been slow around here, I know. I’m actually ramping up on a couple of non-Dethroner-related projects that I hope to announce in the next few weeks, which has caused me to slack off here. I don’t know when and how Dethroner will shape up in the near future, but I haven’t thrown in the towel yet.
In the meantime, I wanted to congratulate my girlfriend, Susie Stalker, for getting the best present for me I could possible think of: she’s accepted an open-ended internship at Six Point Craft Ales, where she’ll be learning how to brew beer commercially. (And learning how to scrub out giant fermenters, I’m sure.) Finally, a job that I don’t mind her bringing home with her.
Way to go, Stalker!
Excellent! Congratulations, Ms. Susie!
Congrats. What an awesome gig!
Congrats Susie!
And glad to hear you haven’t called it quits on the site, Joel.
awesome! congrats! …even if the blog dies, do the world a favor and leave the forums intact. there’s a wealth of knowledge a camaraderie forming there…
Congrats Susie, sounds like a great gig, really hope dethroner doesn’t fade away…
Susie love to see a what I learned at the brewery today blog,
awesome. it’s great to see more women take an interest in brewing!
we homebrew in my house, but really, my wife is the brewer. she decides what styles we brew, she formulates the recipes, she picks the ingredients, etc. i do the heavy lifting (and the quality control ;)
i’d say at least 1/2 of the top brewers in our homebrew club are women. go (brew) girl!
James, it is in the works.
You’ll be able to get fresh Marmite right off the block. Yum!
