Crazy irony ahead: Allison Stokke, the hot 18-year-old pole vaulter who became a reluctant internet spank icon, has a father who is a defense lawyer, Al Stokke. Al, who was so disturbed by the sexualization of his daughter on the internet that he was trolling message boards looking for potential stalkers, happened to be the same guy who defended the cop that jerked off on the stripper he’d pulled over as well as the sheriff’s son who participated in a gang rape of a young woman. Both of these cases are full of infamous misogynist quotes from Al Stokke, like “She got what she wanted” and “There’s [no pain] that is felt because she was unconscious.” As Feministing aptly put it, it’s okay when it’s someone else’s daughter, but not when it’s Al’s.

We can’t hold Allison wholly responsible for the douchebag career of her father, but I think this gives you more than enough moral ammo to assuage your guilt for cranking one off to Allison’s picture. If she didn’t want to turn men on, she shouldn’t have been so sexy in public. The defense takes a short sandwich and nap, your honor.

It’s OK when it’s someone else’s daughter [Feministing]

“If she didn’t want to turn men on, she shouldn’t have been so sexy in public.”

Heh, that’s sooo wrong. But really, she should be embracing all of this, especially since she’s of age now. Can we say Sports Illustrated and Maxim features, anyone? It sounds like she’s actually a good athlete, and I can’t see how any of this wouldn’t help her become a megastar in her field. And maybe the track team and volleyball teams should have uniforms consisting of baggy sweatshirts and sweatpants, too. And no makeup allowed!

Has she denounced her father’s despicable defense strategeries*?

    No?

Fuck her, then. Spank away, world!
