Besides finding a great place to buy fasteners in bulk – like orders of 5,000 or more – we also ran across a new project planner that helps you visualize what a particular stain will look like on your furniture in a room with similar paint. We also checked out a breakout box that converts a massive 50A 125V or 250V power line (like the one for your welder) into six standard 125V plugs. But the most fun we had this week was just discussing tools and what you do with ‘em: old-school vs. new tech – a discussion that never ends but yields lots of useful ideas – and the work of Bruce Herbert, a chainsaw carving artist.
