I hesitated to put this online, because the loss of a wife is a god damn tragedy, and I’m sure this guy is dealing with it the best way he knows how. Which, of course, makes the tattoo all the horrible; a beautiful young woman resurrected forever in freakish effigy, hungry for flesh.

    Next time.

    Pick a better tatooist.

The idea is strange but appealing at the same time.

I agree that he should have had a better artist do the work. The lettering is beyond awful. Looks like lettering from a 4th grade teacher on crack.

Pffft. That tattooist is no Kat Von D. *swoons*

    (Yes, guys can swoon.)

What are you all looking at me like that for?

I dunno.. I think it’s kind of fucked up to rag on some guy’s tattoo of his dead wife, no matter how piss-poor (and unintentionally comical) it is.

Everyone will think he was once married to Sandra Bernhardt.

    Over zealous shading technique?

She looks like she is 100 years old. As he gets older, she will become more attractive.

Are you sure the man wanted a zombie-wife tattoo? Perhaps the flesh-hungry look was not intentional – just a terrible adaptation of the picture. I mean, the nose isn’t even the same, and the quality of the tattoo is horrible. Who’s to say the artist didn’t just render her excitement as blood-thirst because s/he sucks? And that the man got it that way because it was cheap and/or he’s a fool (or some similar excuse)?

I know who did this tattoo…. I know the artist, it was NOT an intentional zombie tattoo, he just sucks…. what a horrible way to ruin someones arm…. so much for her beutifull wedding photo
