This picture of high school pole vaulter Allison Stokke has been making the rounds the last couple of weeks and the internet has not seemed to lost its interest, despite the fact that additional images of Ms. Stokke show her to be a healthy young woman who looks only just her age. (While I refuse to be so creepy as to look up her birthdate, I’m told she is a Junior, so let’s presume under 18.) Fan clubs have formed and even splintered. A MySpace page exists for Allison Stoke fans. I can’t say she will blossom into a full-fledged internet phenom—there’s just not much more to her than the fact that she’s a fit young girl who had her picture taken at an especially flattering angle.
But her favorite movie is The Two Towers. How’s that feel, nerds? That pain is called irrational heartache.

So I scroll down and see this cute photo and then I read that she may be only 16 and I get the heeby-jebbies. A little heads up would be nice so I don’t feel like as much of a pervert next time please.
The reference to and picture of Wooderson from “Dazed and Confused” was your warning.
@andrew
How did that break lead to that wound? The break was no where near her hands.
Just curious.
Cute, and more importantly, almost legal in NYS.
This far into the school year, most juniors are 17 by now. Which is A-OK in most states. you just can’t take dirty pictures of her.
The shock wave from the snap tore it, 20 stitches, and she cant really use he hand yet.(3 months ago)
She’s a senior…she signed to attend Cal Berkley in the fall. So, she’s probably 18 by now.
Here is a good collection of all the publicly available images of Allison Stokke.

did you take down the pic due to all the traffic?
No more viagra needed - one look at her hot body and I am stiff as a board. Any nudie pics yet?
Please leave this poor girl alone. She is a straight A student, is beautiful, talented, skillful, and gorgeous.
She needs to get on with her life. People need to lay off. There are many more people in this world than this young woman.
Let the madness stop!
She is 18, perfectly legal in virtually every country of the world. Lets hope she does a spot for playboy :-)
Jay, Cole, and Pervert, please report to your local district office for your complimentary castration. Bring an ice pack.
Like Pandora’s Box, the Internet has all the qualities that has forever changed the young life of Ms. Stokke. There are those out there that will look at her as just an athlete while others will look as her with demeaning thoughts and “lewd” writing without even knowing anything about her. Ms. Stokke does not deserve the attention she is receiving outside of the athletic arena.
The attention will only magnify with enrollment at the University of California and her continue succes in Pole Vaulting. Outside of DyeStatCal website, I was unaware of any information on her.
I wish her continue succes in her academic and athletic endeavor. Lastly, I hope she and her family can put what has been posted behind them and move on to a “normal” life. (Sorry for any misspelling).
Damn freaks leave her alone….
