According a study quoted by Reuters, married U.S. men cheat about 3.9 percent of the time, while U.S. women are at 3.1 percent—about the same rates as France, but we’re apparently a lot more guilt ridden about it. “Men in South Africa say they cheat instead of taking second or third wives, Americans lament that love has died in their marriages, and the Japanese believe ex-marital sex isn’t adultery if they pay for it.” [Yahoo/Reuters]
