Weight Loss Wednesday: Week 7 (Friday Edition)

So I’m late, again. I couldn’t abide not being under 200 pounds again, so I waited a couple days. Between last week’s 201 and this Wednesday, I only lost another pound. When I woke up Wednesday morning and was 200 pounds, I flew off the deep end, irrationally determined that I must be under 200 before my next post. So I worked out until I thought I was going to collapse (which didn’t take long) and ate a couple fewer calories than normal, and…sweet success!
That’s right, I broke 200 pounds finally! Trigger the confetti shower! Start the ticker tape! Bust out the beer! Errr, scratch that last one.
I intend to have a longer post next week if I finally cross the threshold from obese into overweight, which is looking likely, but for now let me just say that my clothes don’t really fit anymore. I look down at the belly and don’t see any change, I stand in front of the mirror and feel exactly the same; but there is no disputing the number on the scale or the fact that my pants fall off my ass and my belts can’t seem to get tight enough anymore. As long as I can keep off the ridiculous, money-wasting, unproductive cheats that cheat nobody but myself—and I can—I should be down to at least 195 by next week, putting my BMi at a cozy 29.6, just under the threshold for obesity.
Stats:
Date: 04-25-2007 (Days on program: 49)
Weight: 198 (Total lost: 29 pounds)
BMI: 30.1 (Category: Obese…still!)
Belly: 39″ (Started: 45″)
Way to kick that milestone’s ass! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Next milestone coming up…

I don’t know how you can’t see a change. Looking at the pictures from when you first started, there is a HUGE change, you barely have a belly anymore. Keep up the good work homie.
Good work!
I was getting worried you fell off the diet for a bit. It’s good to see you’re still at it.
Atta boy. I got under two hundy last summer and haven’t looked back. When I was at my biggest, I thought, 200 was a pipe dream. By the time I got there, I knew it was just a milestone. I’m 179 today, maintaining 177-182 on any given day. Keep it up, it’s worth all the hard work.
Woo! Congrats! When we’re in town again (late this month) Im’a give your thin self a big hug!
Congrats man! Good to see you’re making progress.
