• 10PM, PBS - Secrets of the Dead: Herculaneum Uncovered. A report on the Italian city of Herculaneum, which was destroyed when Mount Vesuvius erupted in A.D. 79, includes a look at a preservation project headed by British professor Andrew Wallace-Hadrill. Also: aerial views of the site.
• 10PM, Discovery Health - Diagnosis: Unknown: Toxic Takeover. A man opens an auto restoration business with his longtime friend, but when he contracts a rare lung infection, a huge life insurance policy and ruined finances lead investigators to his partner.
• 10:30PM, DIY - Classic Car Restoration: 1962 Thunderbird Restoration: Engine-Performance Modifications. Dismantling the engine and installing new parts, including aluminum cylinder heads with larger intake and exhaust ports; a high-flow aluminum intake manifold; and a performance 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor.
