Join this with a vest underneath the cardigan, if wearing a black cardigan go for a white vest and also white vest for every cardigan. White socks as you say. Plimsolls - white ones always go down well. and finally an all saints belt to top it off and add to that indie-rock and roll look! I like pairing them with a horizontal striped shirt and a short white jean jacket, and some dark sunglasses. Add some pointy-toed boots and a belt to match, let your hair get a little shaggy, and you're the height of Swinging London.
