I’ll be spending most of tomorrow working on Dethroner, continuing our design “refresh”—don’t worry; it’s not too different—and making some plans for the rest of the year. Nothing terribly interesting, I’m afraid. I do hope to be harvesting a lot of mushrooms this weekend, with one cluster of pearl oyster already about to explode and the shiitake taking shape. If the shiitake grow at the rate the pearl oyster did, they’ll be ready to harvest by Sunday.
How abouts you guys?
This weekend is a big yard work weekend. I will be thatching my lawn, filling in the low spots with top soil, and overseeding everything. I will also be transplanting a couple of bushes to a newly created garden bed, and then planting several flowers and other smaller plants in that bed. I hope to have enough time to do some edging as well. So all of my projects this weekend are outside.

My roommate is out of town for the N.O. JazzFest, so i’m spending thurs.-sat not picking up after myself, or doing the dishes, or anything other than wallowing in my own filth.

We’ll be working on renovations again of course, I think we’re looking at laying some bamboo flooring. And, if the rain holds off it’s the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Brooklyn.

You guys are so productive. It was my Friday off (every other one off schedule), so I just went to the gym and got my car washed. I was supposed to clean the fucking house, but instead I just got wasted. The fiancée just got home and I don’t think she thinks my sense of humor is all that humorous. Maybe she’ll change her mind
