Visit CarbonCart.com - Web 2.0 GreenShopping

Do a story on this!

Developed by three freshmen at Seattle Pacific University, CarbonCart.com is an eco-conscious e-commerce site carrying online retail giant Amazon.com’s entire product inventory that allows consumers to carbon neutralize their internet shopping. By placing their orders for Amazon products through CarbonCart.com, consumers can purchase carbon credits to pay for renewable energy initiatives, reforestation or energy efficiency projects that offset the carbon dioxide generated in the shipping of their purchases.

You can even add products right to your facebook page!

Thanks,
Ryan Tilton

"GreenShopping.com: A Environmentally Conscious Front-End to Amazon (and a Few Others)"

The title of your article calls it "greenshopping.com. If you investigate further, the website you refer to as being a front for Amazon is greenshopper.com, not greenshopping.com. Greenshopping.com was established in 1995 with the intent of being the 24/7 backbone to a satellite delivered television "Green Shopping with Martyn St.David". Please correct your references.

Thank you,

Sorry, I clicked the submit button prematurely, and had the wrong e-mail address in. It's info@greenshopper.com. Anyways, there were a few things missing from what you had put on there, mainly that it relies on user input because there are so many different types of products and categories. It works out really well thus far. But we appreciate the feedback, and you should send it to feedback@greenshopper.com or info@greenshopper.com. Thanks a lot and enjoy!

Uh, I didn't edit anything in the blockquote. I think your idea is solid; I was just trying to offer a little criticism.

You cut and edited some of the material above, which is a little upsetting. It also wasn't offically released when you saw this site. We are working on a criteria for green products, but it's difficult with 1,000 categories. Please see updated, spell-checked FAQ
