girl-drinks.jpgAccording to a lot of manly men, you can only put fruit in your drink when you’re on vacation someplace tropical or else it’s sissy. Even taking a slice of fruit in your cocktail smacks of the gay to some hard drinking lugs. At best, maybe, if there is no more whiskey, maybe you can put your vodka in some orange juice, and then it had better be in the A of M, otherwise you probably sit to pee. Well, here’s some news, bucko: unlike your jigger of straight, gut rotting distilled spirits, fruit-based cocktails count as a health food.

This landmark revelation comes from respected sources, of course, in the US Dept. of Agriculture, and is seconded by Thai researchers from Kasetsart University, who each published an article in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture.

The antioxidant nutrients in strawberries and blackberries, or any colored fruit for that matter, receives a boost to their antioxidant levels by the introduction of a nice splash of ethanol, found quite conveniently in potables like rum, vodka, etc.

So the next time you’re at the bar and some hairy ape lampoons your masculinity for ordering a Mai Tai or a Peach Daqueri, think of how you’re actually doing your body a favor and flip him off.

Then run like hell, cos you’re still a pantywaist for drinking them girlie drinks.

People who alway drink liquor or any hard drinks are certainly not concerned with their health. Telling those brutes that girlie drinks are healthier will do you no good. People drink liquor to be drunk and not to stay healthy.

It sure is humiliating to drink some girlie drinks when all other men are showing their masculinity. It’s better to just drink it when no one’s around. This way, you will be safe from any form of criticism.
