Clips: Chi Master vs. A Dude Who Can Throw a Punch
7 Comments Published by Joel April 19th, 2007 in Fighting, Martial Arts. Share ThisReader Andrew K. sent this video of a “Kiai Master” using “chi” to knock back dozens of fighters with nary a touch. The punchline, so to speak, comes when the master offers $5,000 to anyone who can defeat him with any mix of martial arts, with predictable and even tragic result. This poor old huckster seems legitimately surprised to be smashed in the face by the power of a fist and the man who punched him seems pretty sorry he has to beat down an old man with no ability to defend himself.
There’s another video of the same fight after the jump that is a better angle, but I’ve put this video above the fold since it shows the duped or complicit students of the master folding under his chi touch before the reality unleashes her all-too-legitimate Spin Cutz™.

Oh god, I think maybe you can hear that guy’s nose break on the second video. Or perhaps that was just his heart…Thanks internet!
hahahahahahahaha
awesome.
There is absolutely nothing funny about an old guy with extreme faith in his chi getting punched in the face repeatedly….wait, yes there is.
The younger guy really doesnt seem like he wants to go on after landing the first punch.
That was awesome. What did they really expect to happen
so were all the disciples in the first part of the video just playing along with the Cnaware chi “master”? Trying not to hurt his feelings?
Someone smarter than the old guy once said “Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it.”
