• 9PM, PBS – Nature: Voyage of the Lonely Turtle. F. Murray Abraham narrates this account of a 30-year-old female loggerhead turtle’s journey from Mexico to Japan (its birthplace) to lay eggs. During the yearlong trip (travel speed: 1mph), she passes an array of marine creatures.
• 9PM, Discovery HD – Buried At Sea: A search for some of the millions of tons of chemical weapons and munitions dumped or dropped into the ocean between World War II and the 1970s.
