Infinity Razor Reviewed (Verdict: Junk)

I’ve never seen the commercials for the “Infinity Razor,” which purports to have a blade make of science stuff so everlasting that it won’t need to be replaced for a decade. A Times reporter bought one and tried it out; it shaves like shit, he (more or less) says. Noted!
I’ve always had decent luck with the Gilette Mach 3.
If you have 0 reviews how can you give a verdict. I bought one and have been using it for several weeks I love the free gifts it came with. I give it a thumbs up!
I bought the Infinity Razor several weeks ago, and am still using it. I love it 2 thumbs up!
I have been using the Infinity Razor for quite a while, and I love it. 2 thumbs up
I got the razor as a gift from my wife last Dec. I was skeptical at first because I have a thick beard but I’m extremely happy with how long it has lasted and that the blade is still sharp. I’m going on my 4th month. My wife just bought another one for herself. We are very satisfied.
I was surprised when I read the article about the razor not being sharp. I thought it was very sharp and on the other end of it worried about it cutting me. So far so good, no cuts and still using razor.
hi to all,
id love to get this razor; but they wont ship to Canada….
could anyone help me out ??

Junk! POS! The worst razor ever. The pluggers above must be in-some-way connected to the copyright holders or the inventer(s). Right on Thomas Truth!
The blades will not dull because they are already
dull when you get them. Not worth a damm.
Steven must be shaving “peach fuzz.” The blades suck.

I purchased and it is JUNK! It pulls and does not cut worth a darn. I had to use my old razor to clean up after the infinity. This so called never dull razor is a rip off im my opinion.
Look at posters, The times / Dates are too closely related. This product is shit, they used Mach 3 blades (same patent, so they had to purchase from same manufacturer) Upon asking for a refund, they say .. did you shave ? (yes i did) We cannot refund a used product, the unlimited refund only covers “new products”. Also they automatically send you more products every month, I was in afghanistan for 4 months and received 9 products (2 per month) and it was 19.99 for each unless i returned them within 7 days. SCAM!!
I ordered the razor and never used it because it was so fishy at the website. They ended up charging me $61 and charged my account, not once, but TWICE. As you all say, INFOWORX is a scam company. They do not provide a way to cancel an order online and their working hours are questionable. I am now in a dispute with them because they had charged my account twice.
I emailed, faxed and phoned (30 second message!). They never responded to the email but it appears the voice mail and/or fax got them. Of course, they were only available during the hours I work. So, the items arrive. I had to open the box to put the “RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER’ on the invoice. This ensured that I pay for the return shipping. They did not provide a mailing label for that.
I rarely order from a commercial but the idea of a razor never dulling would be great environmentally. When they were trying to ship six or more, it was getting very weird. The fact that you can’t cancel your order online is one of the worst scams I’ve every had to deal with. I’m usually wiser. I wish I’d found this site before going to their website.
I promise that I do not work for the company that makes the infinity razor. It works great. Had it since December and I have pretty thick facial hair. The blades are not the least bit dull. I don’t know why so many people do not find it satisfactory.
I bought the razor and it doesn’t shave well at all. It tore me up when i tried to get as close as a mach 3. Infact, I had to go over what the inifinity did with my mach 3 so it all looked even. The warrenty is the scam. the 2 razors, little hair trimmer, and knife cost $19.95 with $8.95 shipping and handling (total $28.90). i wanted to send it back for the refund so i check out the site. here’s what i find: you send it back and get a refund less orig shipping. so i’d get 19.95 back… that’s cool. i can handle a $10 loss. but the site says to include $8.95 PER razor (total $17.90) (the s&h for orig 2 razors, trimmer and knife was $8.95, figure that one out) so my refund will be $2.05 ($19.95 – $17.90) and that doesn’t include the price it would cost me to send it through ups or whomever i choose. so the scam in returning it would be that i would pay out more money than i would get back so i’d have no razors and be out the original $30.
bottomline from my experience: it doen’t shave very well and the return policy will leave you with less money still.
I assure you most of these people who say “two thumbs up,” are in on it. I am in law enforcement (fraud) and have ran into people who have worked for these companies. They search these sites and post blogs and comments helping to promote their products. The product is all hype. Why would Giellette make extremely sharp blades that last a week that cost the same amount as a “lifetime blade” that costs only 20 bucks for two-six??? If this was possible, Gillette would make the same product and charge $100.00. People would buy it too if it would really last 10 years or, a “lifetime.” The biggest part of the scam is the return policy. You are better off keeping the crap than returning it. The company realizes that it is a civil issue and upset customers would have to take them to civil court to sort it out. In the end, it would not be worth it. Keep this in mind, if the product sounds to be good to be true, it probably is. You are always better off paying a little more at a respected retailer right around the corner who will return the product for “any” reason. The same goes for buying online; buy from well respected companies.
DON’T WASTE TIME !
I should have read other’s reviews prior to placing the order.
The Infinity Razor is nothing but junk. It’s nothing but a cheap immitation of a brand name razor.
Thanks for the reviews everyone – i was considering a purchase. Too bad so many businesses are completely amoral. BUT… in principle, titanium nitride edge coatings SHOULD extend blade life significantly, but certainly not to 10 years or infinity. It seems to me that my Fusion blades wear out faster than their old 3 bladed predecessor, but I can’t prove it. With 5 blades doing the work it seems to me that the Fusion should last maybe 33% longer than 3 blades. Doesn’t that sound reasonable?
However, Gillette was purchased by Proctor & Gamble, the king of consumer marketing, for BOCU bucks. Breathtaking bucks. Someone has to pay for that acquisition, no? Hmmmm. Well, say, maybe, why don’t we, you know, just sort of, you know, maybe, stimulate blade purchases a little bit? – nothing really big, you know, but just a little bit? I mean, who’d notice? After all, we’re now Gillette aren’t we? So we keep the five blades but make ‘em just a bit softer? How ’bout that? What do you think? Doable?
IT’S HORRIBLE. CAN’T SEE WHAT ANYONE CAN SHAVE WITH THIS PIECE OF JUNK!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
This is totally Junk. I will never buy from TV ads.
I bought two and both of them.. let’s see if I can return them
Wow, sounds like a piece of crap. I sure am glad that I read this review online. Its funny, this isnt the first “seen on TV item” I have looked up online recently and it seems like they all run the same sort of scam. Buyer beware I guess!
Thanks for all of the reviews. I just knew the informercial was a joke! I had my hopes, but I thought I’d check out some reviews before purchasing. Buyers Beware!!
POS is all I have to say. I have disputed the charge with AMEX. I will be getting my money in full refunded as this is a total scam.
thanks for all the posts, it really help me make my mind up about this product.
by the way i am getting ready to launch buyorlie site to fight against fake products & help companies real products to succeed, if you have a sec to share the truth what u experienced or heard I have post already ready for it: http://buyorlie.com/board/viewthread.php?tid=1&page=1#pid1
Help others make up their mind about this Razor & they will help you in something else.
I ordered the INFINITY RAZOR before reading all of the above horrors stories. I am in no way endorsing this product. When the product arrived, I already had a negative attitude. In my opinion, it’s a great razor. I had to use less shaving cream than I normally would with my Schick ST twin blade. I also shave my head. I have not gotten any nicks or cuts either. It’s definately worth the price.
Thanks alot to all of you, I am really glad I did not buy it before I read all these things. I just saw the commercial and was amazed, apparently the only reason is because it was lies. Thanks for saving me!
I wish i had checked for reviews before ordering the stupid thing. And of course I ordered a couple of extra ones because they were so cheap (to use as gifts). Even got the shaving mirror, which is also totally worthless because it distorts your face. But back to the Infinity Razor itself: Not only does it shave like crap, it hurts like hell, too. Because it cuts your beard so poorly, it just ends up pulling on your hair instead of actually cutting it. Consequently I end up having to go back and make several more passes to get a smooth shave.
I looked at one in Rite Aide today. The price sticker said it was made in
China which no one mentioned so far. China noted for its high quality steel! Once I saw that I thought I would check on the Internet as I was suspicious. Thanks I won’t buy it!
I was ready to jump in and get one. But after reading the reviews all I can say is”thank-you. twenty bucks worth.”
I was thinking about purchasing the Infinity Razor..but thanks to everyone else waseting their time and money on these POS, it saves the rest of us the hassle and anguish of buying them…Thanks to you all for posting your comments on items like this…
the infinity razor is dull , that’s the problem. not sharp to start with. what a rip-off.
I saw one of these at Target and figured for 10 bucks I would give it a try to see if I could get out of paying 50 bucks for how ever many fusion power cartridges you get at Costco.
I should note that I use shaving oil instead of shaving cream or gel. I like it better. I don’t know if that makes much difference with the Infinity Razor though, but usually it makes for an easier shave for me.
On to the Infinity…
When I first started around the sideburns and down the cheeks I thought I had hit upon something great. It was doing a pretty decent job. It was not shaving smoothly, but that is the usual for me. I always have to shave in the reverse direction to finish completely smooth. No problems so far.
As I get closer to the mouth things start to go a little bad. It is not taking the hair off the way it was. I notice that the twin blade seems to have clogged up. So I try to swish it through the water in the sink. No deal. I try to clear it out by holding it under the water. Nope. I have to squeeze the hair out from the blades with my thumbnail. Then rinse it off. Not cool. The cartridge is almost solid. You cannot see through it from the back like other cartridges I have used. There are two small holes, but it is not near enough to get the amount of water flow in to clear out the blades.
After that it shaves okay… For a bit. Then same thing. Clogged. Thumbnail thing again. Then rinse. Repeat as necessary. It is necessary a lot.
So, I have wasted 10 bucks. I don’t feel too bad. I should have known better though. I should have checked the web first, but figured it was just 10 bucks. I might try to take it back to Target.
Conclusion: If you absolutely need to try it for yourself… Like me. Get it at a retail chain. Target had it for 10 bucks. Other than that. Don’t bother. Blades are not real sharp, and they clog up and there is no easy way to clear them out.
Hope it helps.
GLAD I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING. THERE IS JUST TOO MUCH BAD PRESS OUT THERE ABOUT THIS RAZOR. I DONT WANT TO WASTE MY MONEY, SO I PASSED ON THIS MIDNIGHT IMPULSE.
God damn it! I purchased one a couple weeks ago. I have not received it but they charged me almost two dollars more than they should have and now I am worried because they have my credit card number. I wish I would have read this before I bought it. I hate scammers!!!!
yep I purchased one too from Target, glad it’s $10 i’m out of. I haven’t noticed anyone commenting on the handle – it was very awkward for me. But, I immediately knew I was scammed when I saw that the razor comes off-like a replacable razor. hmmmmm…. then there was absolutely no information printed on the package or a information pamphlet inside – nothing to send back to the company to complain. Oh well – it’s true, you get what you pay for….
IT IS THE WORTST SHAVE I EVER GOT. INFINITY RAZOR IS TRUELY JUNK/ IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, AND TRUST IT IS. TERRIBLE PURCHASE DOES NOT EVEN SHAVE AS WELL AS A DISPOSABLE BIC WHEN IT IS BRAND NEW THREW IT IN GARBAGE
My wife bought the razor for me as a gift and it is nothing but a piece of garbage and the store better give her a refund! I have used all different kinds of razors including old fashioned straight razors and this product is worse than the worst cheapest razor I’ve ever used. I had to finish shaving with one of my old razors and it did a better job than this. There should be a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer so they will know and companies like them will know to stop defrauding consumers. This Infinity (joke) razor didn’t even cut through my hairs on my face and the blades couldn’t even be cleaned no matter how much you shake it in the faucet, I would never recommend this product.
Also purchased mine at TARGET. Figured for $10 what the hell. Not a Great blade at all. Wasn’t horribly bad on my face but not a close shave. I also shave my head, so I tried that. Forget about it. A total waste. Save your money at any cost.
I assure you, these razor are infinity lasting! I burried it in the backyard it sucked so bad and i just checked and its still there and im willing to bet 1000’s of years from now it will still be there! See…truely infinite! As for sharpness lasting, an ice cube lasts longer in the desert at high noon in july!
Thanks for this site and for all the honest posters. I just thought I’d check on the internet before ordering and I am glad I did. I am amazed at how dishonest and brazen the manufacturers and promoters of the product are. From pdx David’s experience, it is clear that the product was designed to fail because it was designed to clog up so that it wouldn’t do it job properly. It is also clear from the experience of those who tried to return the product that the sellers intended to scam the public who bought from them.
I wonder whether there is no government body that regulates fair trade that could step in and prosecute these crooks – for that is what they obviously are.
As an alternative, you might consider replacement razor blades from http://www.greatrazors.com/.
I gave an earlier review that was very positive. I felt it was worth the price. But after using it a couple of weeks, I changed my mind. It sucks. The handle is awkard. The shave is terrible. I was trying to justfy my purchase. Don’t waste your money.
This Razor is horrible. It felt like it was PULLING the hairs out of my face. My wife tried it and went back to her disposable Razors immediately. This is just another GIMMICK. My advice is to STAY AWAY!!!!
Well, I placed my order 2 days ago. During the automated phone call, they gave me a number to call if I had any issues. So I waited 48 hours like they asked, then called the number. They told me that “it hasn’t downloaded into our system yet, you must call back on monday” and I asked, how long between when it downloads and when you ship it out, and they said “don’t know, could be a few hours”.
So I called my credit card company, and the charge has not occurred yet. So I told them I lost my card, and to freeze the account. They did. I will get my new card with new number in a few days.
In the meantime, the company can jump through my hoops if they want to try to get their money.
Thanks for the warning guys, I should have visited this site sooner.
I too, ordered the razors. I ordered 2 because the offer was buy 1, get 1 free,so I would have a total of 4 razors.
Well, they came and I had a total of 6 razors, a chef’s knife and a hair remover, and a bill totaling over $60. I was pissed. I did, however use one of the razors on my legs in the shower and it seemed to do a great job, but I too was alittle skeptical because I noticed the blade slipping off like a disposable razor. The way the razor was described in the commercial, it makes you think that it’s a forever blade, or that doesn’t have to be replaced.
Also, there was no paper work for the charges or any warrenty in the box. This worries me!!!! My husband will be trying it tonight and he has a thick beard so we will see. I wish I could have read this site before I bought. Next time I will check or only buy from HSN.
thanks for the info.I will definitely not be buying this product.
From a logic standpoint tungsten carbide would remain sharper longer but we are talking a few times longer not forever.
this product is a POS!!!!!! It doesnt work at all. all it does is scrape your skin and irritate it. I wouldn’t use this razor to commit suicide its worthless. Not only doesnt it work but they charged my account extra 20 bucks these pple are into a scam and they need to be shut down. My advice Stay away FRom this MFPOS!!!!!!!
I knew this razor had to be a scam when I went to the buyinfinityrazor.com site and found it was $19.95 for two razors and the shipping was $12.95 for each razor. Now listen to the add. It says there is a lifetime replacement guarantee. The last razor you will ever have to buy. Sure you will never have to buy another razor, unless you actually want one that will shave your beard. Yes you don’t have to buy another, you will only need to pay $12.95 to have another crumy razor to be shipped to you. The scam is completed with tricky word play. Do yourself a favor. Spend some money and buy a real razor.
MY WIFE ALSO BOUGHT POS FOR ME,I KNOW WHY NOW,I’M A OTR DRIVER,GONE ALL THE TIME,I THINK SHE SECRETLY THOUGHT I WOULD CUT MY THROAT WITH DULL NO COUNT PIECE OF JUNK AND BLEED TO DEATH OUT HERE ON THE ROAD SO SHE COULD COLLECT LIFE INSURANCE.BUT,TO NO AVAIL IT DOESN’T CUT,IT PULLS HAIR OUT.I DO HAVE TO SAY THE 1ST SHAVE WAS PRETTY GOOD,BUT NEXT 2 SHAVES WAS MISERIABLE,HAD TO USE MY FUSION TO CLEAN UP WHAT INFINITY LEFT WHICH WAS EVERYTHING.WHAT A GIMMICK,CAN’T GET HER MONEY BACK,SHE BOUGHT IT FROM PCH,(PUBLISHERS CLEARING HOUSE).I THOUGHT IT WAS MY IMAGINATION SO I TRIED IT AGAIN YESTERDAY,STILL DULL POS.I’M THINKING ABOUT BOXING IT UP AND GIVING IT TO MY BROTHER FOR A BIRTHDAY GIFT AND SEE HOW HE LIKES IT! IF ANY OF YOU WANT A REALLY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH A GOOD RAZOR,TRY THE FUSION,ITS WHAT I WAS USING B4 WIFE BOUGHT POS INFINITY RAZOR,BEEN USING SAME REFILL RAZOR FOR OVER A MONTH,BETTER THAN MACH3,MY OPINION! OF COURSE OPINIONS ARE LIKE ASSHOLES EVERYBODY HAS ONE,GOOD LUCK AND DON’T BUY THE INFINITY!
I secured one on ebay, THEN read the reviews.I doubted many of them. Tried it and after one quarter of a shave, threw it in the waste basket and repaired what I did with a real razor. Will I never learn? I do not think so. Chinese junk.
Thanks for all the info. It sounded to good to be true.I’m glad there is sights like thease to warn about crap like this
Thanks Everyone- a NEW razor has become a standard Christmas present for my son along with blades and was thinking what the heck- this sounds pretty good and then decided to read a little and you all saved me a great deal of money and giving lousy Christmas gift. Guess I will stick with FUSION again as my son loves it! The additional shipping was quite a surprise and KUDOS to cancelling credit card and letting them jump!! Once in a while I tend to lose my mind. Especially living on Big Island of Hawaii I buy MOST of my gifts off the Net and this saved me a lot of hassle. By the way Forget the Focus Factor hype thing you see advertised. I WILL SOMEDAY LEARN, I WILL SOMEDAY LEARN! My new mantra.
“I rarely order from a commercial but the idea of a razor never dulling would be great environmentally.”
Yeah, and an infinite supply of non-polluting energy would be great environmentally, too. I’ve got some right here … only $99.99 for this one-time-only internet special.
“I’m usually wiser.”
Well, at least you’re wise enough to realize how foolish you were to believe something just because you wanted it to be true.
Three words why its sucks:
MADE IN CHINA
I purchased the Infinity Razor on Saturday (08.25.07) – at first, I was a bit disappointed when I started shaving my face with the blade, however, when I made another pass in the opposite direction, the stubble that was left the first go time around, were now gone. My face was much smoother than I could remember when using my old Atra II blade, my girlfriend concurred.
This morning, I shaved again (pretty good results for shaving every other day), however, it feels smooth, but a little more razor bumps. I’ll continue to use this blade for a little while longer to see how “sharp” it will be. I usually buy the generic Atra II blades (Safeway brand, Wal-Mart brand, etc) and depending on the quality of those blades, I could usually get about 3 to 4 weeks worth of shaving from one blade – and that’s shaving about 4 to 5 times a week. We’ll see with this Infinity Razor.
Am really glad I saw this. Won’t be wasting my money on this product.
I was just about to order one of these packages before I read this. As always, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Thanks for the information.
Hi all,
I bought one thru PCH, and have been using it for a few weeks now. It cost me $22.56. It must have been a fluke, because it shaves pretty good. I dry shave mostly, for that nice leather-like skin feeling. I hope it lasts a few months, if not. Life goes on for the gullable.
The Infinity Razor comes with a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee – which means if you ever think it is not shaving you as close as it should, send it back, and we will send you a replacement. Try it for 30 days, and if it is not the greatest razor you’ve ever used, send it back, and we’ll refund the purchase price . You can’t lose on this one. It’s guaranteed better shaving for life.
If that’s what they are claiming as their guarantee, then I would think those of you who were trying to return it, after use, would have a good argument when they say you can’t return it. I found this on the following website:
http://www.buyinfinityrazor.com/Default.asp?tcode=asp3&bhcp=1
I’m glad I read these reviews, I really wanted one.
Thanks to all who provided an honest review of this product. I was going to order to see if it was as good as it sounded. You all saved me a head ache that I do not need.
If anyone is interested (I have no affiliation and do not profit, just a good old fashioned recommendation) Total Shaving solution out of Peoria, IL makes a great shaving product that both will give a great shave and extend the life of your blades. With all of the Mach blades costing as much as they do, it really does help out the pocket book and you will never have a better shave. I can use a Mach 3 for about 4 and a half months. It is a shave oil that will not oxidize the blades, so they stay sharper longer. I can down and up shave everyday and have no irritation.
Thanks again for the advise and reviews.
I bought the Infinity Razor, but not for myself.
I bought it for my horse. I shavd his legs and rear quarter area and he loved it. He’s got that silkey slick feeling like women do when they shave down below,,,
I was surprised to see the ease that the razor has and its still sharp. Horse hair and also girl hair is a lot thougher than male hair so you have to believe this to be true.
I think next, I would like to get a girl, but she has to get her own razor.. this one’s for ole Rue.
Thank you for all of the comments. I will not be buying one. I almost fell for the pos.
Hey everybody thanks for all the comments on the POS IR. I was ready to order one from the catalog, Carol Wright Gifts. But not now, so glad I checked this out before I wound up with this POS!
Thanks again!
the person below has posted to at least 4 TV product review websites……….

I seen the tv and thought i would give it a try since ,since it raved of lasting forever..Which is one big ass lie… I got this thing less than a month ago and one of the razors is rusted already from just sitting in the stand it came with.. This razor is totally worthless, I wasted $38.00 in total shipping and all that. The design sucks you did they design it for..The handle is short and uncomfortable and it don’t cut for shit and will give you razor burn from trying to hard to remove little stuble. I too ended up using my standby razor gm3 turbo.. I have gotten a better shave with a $0.25 bic throw away.. Which at least don’t rust for no apparent reason. I wouldn’t waste anymore money even to send it back.. And will encourage all my friends and family to look elsewhere cause this INFINITY RAZOR isn’t worth a can of beans. Even the gifts that came with it suck to me since all i wanted really was the razor.
I won’t sugar coat it..cause it sucks and thats the bottom line… :(
I agree with the last poster, Oska. I’ve gotten a better shave with a .025 bic throw away.
I guess that I am ahead of some of the others who bought this thing, because I got it at Walgreens for $9.99. I bought it yesterday and used it for the first time today. I shaved with it… and then had to shave again with a different razor. In fact, a cheap Bic razor from a pack I keep for guests.
The Infinity Razor is, right out of the box, duller than a much used razor. I had to use something sharper than it to get it out of that darned unopenable by hand plastic package.
I don’t know. Perhaps if I shaved one square inch of my face at a time, cleaning the razor between each little inch, it might work better. Might not. The skin of my jawline is feeling raw and sore right now so I am not giving this thing another try at my face.
I agree: Junk.
I am taking it back to Walgreen’s today.
Wow, is this razor a scam or what?! Unforunately I have already ordered the razors off of the t.v commerical, but after reading the reviews I decided to give them a call and ask a few questions. I did confirm that it does have a disposable head and you have to pay return shipping. ( Do not use if you have ordered because they won’t refund on used items!) They did claim that if you do use that they will send out a replacement blade free of charge with free shipping, but if it cuts like crap what’s th point?? The worst part is that they have already taken the payment off my card and claim the don’t and haven’t had an order for me even though my card says the payment has been made!!! This is definetly a scam! I would reccommend calling them if you have placed an order to see if they even have you on file! Depending on how much you like to gamble will determine wether or not you keep your order. I will write another review when i get it ( if I do) seeing how they can’t find an order. I guess I’m going to have to fight with them for my money back! GREAT! Good luck! Nad please BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought 2 (one for home and one for work) infinity razors at Target on clearance. I took it home and shaved. I thought I was using a broken bottle.
This thing sucks.
POS!
I have used rusty razors that have shaved me better.
At least I got them on clearance.
I bought the Infinity Razor a couple of weeks ago. I am very happy with it so far. I have had no problem with it cutting me at all. For the people that have trouble cleaning it you can take the blade head out and it cleans eaiser that way.
It’s no better than the disposables I’ve used for years. After a week I was no longer able to remove my stubble with it. I wanted to believe in them too.
I so glad that I read these reviews. I had a gut feeling that this was crap, and although there are some reviews ( I belived planted ) that are positive – I am glad that I didn’t give my credit card information to these scammers. In the words of Judge Judy – DON’T PiSS ON MY LEG AND TELL ME IT’S RAINING! You just can believe any of these “forever” claims. TRUST YOUR GUT but if in doubt – go online! HA!
There is a definite pattern here. Either it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread, or it’s total garbage. Nothing in the middle. This strongly suggests the positives are from the seller.
One point about cutting edges – to make an edge last longer (e.g. an axe), the angle of the edge is higher. To make it sharper (e.g. razor), the angle must be very low. While I haven’t seen the product in question, the reports sure sound like these blades may well have a higher angle. Could anyone confirm or deny this?
In any case, the “warranty” is certainly a scam, and probably illegal. Charging TRIPLE the shipping is bunk.
The best way to deal with blatantly fraudulent advertising and amoral stations that blithely accept advertising dollars from these criminals is to appeal to their ears, located adjacent to their posterior parts. Kick ‘em squarely in their wallet pocket. Boycott ALL advertisers and infomercials on stations that accept these fraudulent ads. Write to the advertisers as well as the greedy stations that rip off their viewers in the name of profits. Tell them that swimming in sewage makes them all smell bad. When legitimate advertisers start pulling their ads, stations will respond by verifying advertiser claims and policies.
These stations know full well that we are being ripped off. Otherwise, they wouldn’t broadcast disclaimers prior to these blatant lies. “We are not responsible for any criminal activities we are promoting.”

I was excited their was a razor that does not need to be replaced. Bought one at Target on sale. It’s true. It definitely does not need to be replaced, because it’s the last one I will ever buy.
I can give it to my kids and I won’t have to worry about them being cut. I keep SCRAPING my face with that thing and nothing gets cut. WTF!!!
Bought one of these razors at CVS this past Saturday. The razor did a fair job on the first shave, but after that it really pulled and hardly cut at all. I’ve had a better shave with a cheap BIC throw away than from this razor. If some people are getting such great shaves from their Infinity Razor weeks after they’ve used it, there sure must be a big problem with the company’s quality control.
10/11/07
I bought the infinity Razor Jr. for new shavers.
I got a blast.
I shaved before going to bed and when I awoke in the morning I had super Powers! I could see through walls, fly through the air, and bend steal with my bear hands.
The company can’t speak for each personal expeience or claims made by individuals, so I am speaking for myself.
I am ready to save the world with my Infinity Razor Jr.
It’s simply the best invention since the can opener.
I bought the so called Infinity Razor on clearance at Target. It sounded like a great idea at the time. This razor is the worst thing I have ever touched to my face! It did not cut me, as it did not cut my chin stubble, but it sure hurt like hell. I immediatelly traded it for a used disposable from the trash can and had a much better experience. Long story short, I lost the reciept and now I am stuck with a $12 piece of junk.
I’d seen the ads on TV, was curous. Wife tried to talk me out of it. When I found it at the ‘As seen on TV’ store, i had to buy it…
Its okay.
Not the closest or most comfortable shave. It gives me an ‘OK-for-work-save’, but not for ‘Taking Huneybunch out’, or ‘going to church shave’…
HB says it was a waste of money. I’m bound and determined to use it for two months which is about the amount I’d spend on my Mach 3 Blades…
I ordered mine from the Dr. Leonards catalog. The infinity razor is absolutely the WORST razor I have ever shaved with. First, the curved handle is very uncomfortable to hold. Second, the blades are dull to begin with. The set came with 2 razors. I shaved with the first razor and even after going over my face several times I could still feel razor stubble. So I shaved again using the second razor. I still didn’t get a close shave and my skin was irritated from all the scraping this piece of junk did. So to sum it up:THE INFINITY RAZOR IS JUNK. And just for the record, my razors came with the Infinity Chef’s knife which also never needs sharpening. This Chef’s knife is just as dull as the razors. THE INFINITY CHEF’S KNIFE IS JUNK!
I called and talked to the makers of the infinity razor, and I was assured that all the negative responces that have been made here are from pure competition.
The company has gone as far as sending the prototype to the Smithsonian Institution. I wish I could upload a picture of a girl that I just started emailling to from a dating site. She’s so in love with me only after 4 letters and my photo that I uploaded onto the web-site, was one taken after I shaved with my Infinity Razor.
You have to take my word for this. I can’t wait till the company comes out with the new and improved Infinity Razor.
can anybody out there give me a good hamburger hotsauce recipe?
Amazing product! I have no clue why you guys are giving this product such bad marks.
The infinity Razor is the best thing I have ever used on my Ultra-Light peach fuzz. Why I have been using this product once a month for the past year with no problems.
I love it so much, i bought two for myself. I even bought one for Sarah, my 2 year-old. It is her favorite toy, and it good to know that she will never cut herself accidentally with her Infinity Razor.
This product is well worth the investment of $30.00. Why i easily would have paid $200.00. Being that i paid with credit card, they might have actually charged me $200, who knows.
And what is all this talk about the razor being dull!! It may not be the sharpest blade on the market but it is sure sharper than me.
Well i’m glad i was able to share my satisfactory about the Infinity Razor, and how it keeps the peach fuzz off my face. I would chat some more but i got things to do, and fake plants to water.
My grandfather and I were ready to buy as soon as we seen the great too good to be true commercial, but I always find out reviews online. Im glad I did, this company Is a no good piece of shit no good mother fucker!
I saw a commercial last night and almost bought it. Luckily, I read the reviews. Funny part is I saw a few of the same “shill” reviews, word for word, on different sites. What a crock of shit.
This TV scam product exemplifies and typlifies the amount of rip-off jocks who prey on the elderly, infirmed, lazy and uninformed consumer. These are easy targets and the consumer protection guys are sitting with their heads up their ass. Where is the necessary full-disclosure requirements on the TV ads themselves. And full disclosure means using legible/readable type face/size with comprehension; not sped up unintelligable garble. Hell, even the drug companies clearly point out their caviates. Morally, the TV/Cable networks need a higher standard of acceptability for product/service implied endorsement. However, condsidering the greed factor, they’ll take ad bucks from anyone for anything if they can get away with it. That’s why they state that “the following paid infomertial is not an endorsement…”
Take my advice, as a ‘Li’l Reminder’ (product pun intended), do not buy any shit from the TV where the products or actors are incredulious, suspicious, or too wonderous. Get your lazy self to a computer and research this crap as an educated consumer. Yes, and watch out for the friends and stockholders of the scammer posts and comments.
To the guys who endorse this and other bull-shit products, I say stop: fucking the secretary, taking payoffs from the scammers, sticking your head up your ass, and adding confusion to honest/truthful reviews. In fact, O.J. did it wrong. Instead of a ’stick-up’, he should have taken a BIG stick and busted up the place. I am now planning a vigilante group to hunt down the headquarters of these type guys and do a BIG number on their office equipment.
Imagine the press that this would get: “Angry Consumers Bust Up Scammer/Fraud Biz”. All interested persons wishing to join, contact me via this blog.
i used it once and it worked like crap. thumps down
it is a foney
This is the worst shaver I ever bought. Just 2 uses and gone to the trash.
Good information: if it sounds too good to be true; it might just be a lie.
The real tip-off is four fold. They warantee it for a whole 30 days;
they don’t say a word about how sharp the blade is;
they have a bunch of common testimonials that all sound as if written by the same person and most importantly: Why arent they esteblishing a revolution in the industry. Why doesn’t Gillette use it?
It sounds like a fairly ordinary scam to me. It’s for people who believe the real estate crisis is a wonderful opportunity to purchase property cheap.
I’m digging it. It took 2-3 shave to get used to, becuase all of the other “close-comfortable” razors, dull out too quick.
I have been using the 2 blade big-name razors since my military days. Then upped it to 3 blades, then to 4, then 5. What’s next a GD guillotine? So I bought the dumb thing, and got suckered into getting 3 more for the wife and the gym, and whoever else for $5 more.
The only thing that I wish they would have done was put a pivoting type of head on it and a handle that was a bit straighter. By the way I’m not crazy about the elliptical handle. It’s far from ergonomic and is hard to keep a grip on.
I like the results from the shave. My wife likes to use hers and likes the results, except she doesn’t like using it around her knee caps.
Looks like we were all ripped off. I knew it was too good to be true but for $10 I thought “what the heck”. It produced the worst shave I have ever had in my life. It sits on my bathroom sink looking so cool with its stupid handle and holding case. Time to push in over the edge and into the trash container. Someone made a lot of money off all of us suckers.
thanks for the reviews! just saved myself ten bucks!
Hard to run a scam on people that do 30 seconds of research. Two thumbs up for the information age.
Wow I almost just bought one too! Thank you for the reviews and saving me the time and the money! thank god for review sites!!!!!!
Saw the ads , thought, “At last!” Wasn’t urgent, though, but I wanted one. Haven’t seen the ads lately so checked online & found this site – thanks, y’all, procrastination can pay!
I’ll get another Mach 3 – that’s a good shave.
I was considering buying one but wanted to check it out to make sure I didn’t get scammed and I even went to the infinity website and can’t believe that anyone would ever actually purchase anything from a site like that!!! it has SCAM written all over it, just do the math, legitimate companies have different pages like contact info or costumer service, products offered, a site map even, but with no other page other than them taking your money and you placing the order I wouldn’t do it. I love knives and you gotta understand no matter what the blade is made of it will become dull no matter what you do to it including this “infinity” POS!!! To quote Chris from his Aug 25th post “Three words why its sucks: MADE IN CHINA” and where have all the toy recalls been coming from again…Oh yeah CHINA!!!
I tried using it, and after about 20 mins. i gave up. Then i went back to my mach 3 with a dull blade ta boot, and it only took me like 7 or 8 mins. to get a nice clean shave. What an absolute waste of money.
I’ll just continue to shave with my Ginsu II knife. At least with it, I can chop a tree, saw a nail, cut a can, slice a tomato and scrape my stubble and it STILL stays sharp…but wait, that’s not all…..
I purchased the razor at my local pharmacy. The packaging spoke of a “lifetime guarentee” and a “free trimmer” that you could send for by filling out the “enclosed order form.” There was no enclosed form, or any information regarding the so-called guarentee anywhere in the packaging! RIP OFF!!!
The infinity razor is JUNK a .25 cent bic is better than the 29.95 life time deal.
The other men are right there are only three words for it,”MADE IN CHINA” CRAP!
a great gift to give back to the dearest of scammers in your life–
TOTAL BS! Don’t buy it! Stuck me for $70, and can’t return. Has anyone else filed a complaint w/ the better business bureau?
http://welcome.bbb.org/
Tried the razor this morning, felt like I was trying to shave my legs with the plastic instead of a blade, horrible thing, it seems for the same money they could have made something that actually worked. Another product promoted for the 1st time sucker only. Seems all the production went into the thick plastic worthless stand I can see surviving in landfills for the next million years. No matter how hard we try hard to avoid trying these scams because we want them to work. I’m joining the crowd remarking that its nothing but a waste of money, throw away product.
One would think at 73 years of age some wisdom would prevail. No such luck! Only wish I had gone to this site prior to ordering the Infinity. Holy shit!! What a piece of crap! I got better shaves using my dog tags from the Korean Police Action! Anyway, I ordered (got two razors for the price of one) the crap and got a handy nose hair clipper (which gets very hot when trimming nose hair) and an “apology letter” with regards to the fake Ginsu-type knife – seems they were out of stock. Never did get the fucking knife! Returned stuff within the thirty-day money back time frame ….ordered Sept. 26th and returned via USPS on October 15th. Still haven’t been credited the purchase price and tax (s & h not included in refund). Called ‘customer service’ (an oxymoron) today and they can’t even find a record of my purchase nor my return! I don’t see how anyone in their right mind could testify as to the validity of this product …it truly sucks! It looks as if I’m out a few bucks. I am pissed, but what can I do about it? Wish I had thought of this scam …I could certainly use a few million bucks!! CAVEAT EMPTOR …..buyer beware!
what a POS. This has got to be the biggest scam going. It didn’t even cut one days worth of stubble the first time without going over it several times. It tears your face off its so rough and you can’t even clean it with running water.
I would have to consider myself lucky. I only paid $10.00 for this piece of junk. I thought perhaps the problem was the awkward handle so I removed the blade from the handle and put it on my Schick handle. It did not make any difference. It provides a poor shave at best. It pulls like the blades are dull and it leaves stubble that my good old Schick would never have left. Save your money.
The infinity razor is by far the worst razor i’ve ever used. I’d rather use a old dull razor. I lost twenty dollars in shipping to this company. Never again.
HAHAHA! Im Rich Bitttch!! Thanks for the millions you all have pumped into my bank accounts , now i can relax on a beach in Mexico!!!!! SUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought one, tried it, wasted my money, and I went back to the cheaper throw away blades, what a big farce……
Don’t waste your money. It’s by far the worst razor I’ve ever used. Save the ten bucks and buy a truckload of dollar store razors, they’re much sharper and last longer than 1 1/2 shaves…
WOW…the bad reviews, makes you wish everything was FDA approved. Even with scam things like this, the get rich guick gimmic, the GOV doesn’t care, because they make off the taxes, it’s up to the consumer to beware..To bad many of you got taken, I have purchased a few things fron As Seen On T.V….and to be honest…i never will again. The vaccum that hold a bowling ball, wouldn’t even pick up a marble, yet a bowling ball. I have given up. Remember the saying…”if it sounds to good to be true,it probably is.
Thank You Folk’s for saving me my hard earned money!!!!
This is the worst razor I have ever used in my life. I have been shaving since I was 14, I am now 38. The blade seems dull as it pulls the hair instead of cutting it. It also clogs badly and is very hard to clean unlike a normal razor. It hurt while I shaved my face and it hurt after shaving. Please read pdx David comment as he describes in
detail why this razor is JUNK. I would not recommend any one buying this razor. Do not buy this razor!!!!!!!! Repeat do not bye this razor as is JUNK JUNK JUNK. I bought mine off of QVC and will get my money back.
HI Everyone!!!
Thank you everyone for taking the time to post your comments about the Infinity Razor. I just saw the commercial again, wrote down their number and decided before I call I was going to check online, in doing so I came across these postings.
Thank you all for saving me from making a mistake and wasting my money.
To all those people who mailed their razors back and are waiting on a refund, I pray that you sent it back registered mail or at the least with a Delivery Confirmation sticker on it. Whether you did or didn’t still try contacting your postmaster and see if anything can be done at that end. Tell the story, give them the web address of this site and any other site that has negative issues about the razors, mention the so called companies operating hours, etc., if that doesn’t work contact your local State Attorney’s Office.
Good luck!!! And again thank you for taking the time to share your experiences about the razor, good or bad.
Well thanks guys and girls, I definitely aint buying this piece of shit
I dont mean to sound condescending, but I thought it was just sort of understood that nothing sold on tv is worth it. I figure that if its a good product it only needs a commercial, not an infomercial, or an entire channel devoted to selling things. I guess somebody out there is purchasing things off television or we wouldnt have so many HSN/infomercials/those annoying as hell cell phone “send me a text everyday with a new pickup line” commercials. Also, do you ever wonder how it could cost them 8.95 to send you a little box? Shipping cant be more than 2 bucks… does it take a minumum wage employee nearly an hour to print out a label and stick it on a box? Handling is code for *profits*. If the handling is half the price, its not worth it.
I saw their commercial today, and thought of getting the infinity for my husband, as a stocking stuffer. Then I went on-line and found this website.
Thanks so much for disclosing the truth!
Happy Holidays~!
my wife bought me one its worse than my used blade i used for a month i cant believe that they can get away with this peace of shit so save your money. also the handle is designed wrong.
In looking around the net after checking out this scam, I learned an important fact:
The USPS will not pursue mail fraud allegations for products priced less than $20. That explains the $19.95 price, and should make you wary of any product offered on an infomercial for that price.
They’re not only trying to entice you with a “reasonable” price — they’re also trying to avoid prosecution.
Another good rule of thumb: Never, ever pay more for shipping and handling than you pay for the product itself.
Happy shopping!
Saw it at a local drug store, I only used it once so far. I had to go over my legs at least three times to get a half decent shave. The container says to look inside for details on a free gift, there is nothing inside, not even an address to send it back. The funny thing is it fell apart while I was using it. A piece of plastic fell off the Carpal tunnel syndrome causing handle and a black thing with a sticky thing fell out. No idea what it is… It only has two blades and the shape makes it a pain in the ass to shave with. You’re better off buying what ever you usually buy.
I got two razors in a package deal. Neither of them is sharp. They feel like they are grasping and pulling the hair out of my face. I still prefer the original fixed head Gillette Trac 2, but the blades now are nearly impossible to find except on Amazon. At least the Infinity handle will hold Gillette Trac 2 blades so it is not entirely a waste.
To think I was about to purchase this piece of shit. I should have known it was too good to be true. Thanks to all that reavealed the truth. Thanks to my friend who found the site.
heres a thought
some ppl accuse others of planting “good”info for the product to sell it
but i ask……….
is it possible that the big companies (gillette, bic, remington etc) are using “plants” to bash the product
other than that I have no idea if the razor works and you just wasted 10-20 secs of your life reading this post
Thanx all of you who had the courage to speak out against this scam. I was considering getting one but thanks to this thread I know better now. I guess I had my hopes too high but I should’ve known better- never trust an infomercial!
Worst peace of shit i have ever bought
Ithrow away sharper blades then this one .
After three shaves the product dulled. It is a waste of your time and money to purchase one of these products. I bought mine at a Rite-Aid and I hope that the stores stops selling this kind of product.
I purchased this item and it is by far the worst razor ever made. They need to take this product off of shelves and offline.
My wife got me the infinity razor for Christmas. It came with 4 razors. The first one was dull and terrible. She tried it on her legs with the same result. I tried the next blade and had the same result. We’re sending it back today.
Buy whatever razor you currently use and when you’re done shaving, leave it submerged in alcohol. By preventing ozidization you’ll get double or triple the blade life. Shave at the end of your shower and use a real brush to lather and you’ll get still more life.
I didn’t buy this razor, because at the end of hte commercial I watched it said “Buy one and receive an additional infinity razor FREE”. I thought, why would I need 2 of them if they never get dull? Thank you I will stick to gilette.
Hi
I am in no way affilated with the people that make this product.
I am not endorsing this product.
This product is the best razor I have ever used. I used to use Mach 3 then found that it was not good enough for my thick beard. The Inifity Razor has solved all my problems. Now when I shave women flock to me to touch my soft beautiful skin. It has improved my life in every aspect. I have confidence I never knew before. Thank you Infinity Razor.
Now where’s my cheque????
Those who buy these products subsidize television for all of us. This is why broadcast TV is free and cable isn’t more expensive. This is also why you cannot pick and choose your cable stations. HSN and stations that show infomercials must be included in every package to keep prices reasonable.
I suspect that Sean H ( Sep 7th, 2007 at 4:45 pm) is giving really good advice, though I haven’t tried the particular product he recommends. A few years back I concluded that the standard high end razors I use had a short working life because it was difficult – near impossible to clean them completely after use, and the thin layer of dried shaving soap etc remaining on the blade compromised the quality of the cutting edge. After different trials I settled on using a shaving oil on my (wet) face with shaving gel applied over it, and – key – putting more oil on my razor (I use the 5 blade gillette type currently but others have worked just fine). After shaving I rinse the razor briefly in running water. Bingo! It comes out spotless (and no stuck hairs) and dries to look as new on a casual inspection. Unlke Sean H I haven’t used a blade for 4 months ( I really like them v sharp) but a month plus is be no problem at all. Apart from being harmless fun I suspect that by using the gel over the oil on my face each fragment of beard is pushed through the blades by the volume of foam – and in consequence there’s no need to rinse the razor clean while shaving. The result is that it takes me no more than one minute to complete a clean close shave – and we ain’t talking peach fuzz here. Rinse face – you’re done.
After trials I’ve settled on the top end King of Shaves oil which has a silicone component plus fancy essential oils, and one of their shaving gel products – but I’ve not seen these on sale in the US (I get them in the UK). Final suggestion: if you have a skin irritation problem look for products – shaving cream etc or aftershave – containing Bisabolol – primary constituent of the essential oil from German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) (Thank you Wikepedia). IMO it has real and substantial anti-irritant property – though since switching to shaving as described my previous very slight irritation problem is gone.
Just take $10 out of your wallet, ball it up, and throw it in the trash. That’s about the same effect you get when you buy the Infinity Razor.
this thing sucks soo much…
my friend bought 2, and gave me one.
obviously as a joke :)
i tried it and it pulled the hairs rather than cutting them.
in my opinion, you would be better off useing tweezes to pull the hair out of your face!
as for lasting…it wouldn’t have a snowballs chance in hell!!!
if you like to waste money, go ahead and buy it, but atleast buy it from a respected shop, not online, or over the phone (it’s all a big scam)
ps. yes i am a dj, it’s not just a name.
I purchased the razor for a gift to myself looking for a lasting blade that shaved close,WRONG! What I got was another twenty minutes shaving to get the close shave my lady likes (BTW I use the old fashioned single blade razors). I will admit that the shave after the second time waas as close as a baby’s bottom but I attribute that to the old Gillette single blade. I will not even try to return for money, I will send the razor back at my cost just to get rid of it!
This site/blog rocks.
So next time you guys see a commercial for a penis enlargement pills that work wonders you would know what NOT TO DO.
Keep up this great site, I am a female but I find it very educational.
Maybe one for women will follow soon, you know we are suckers for infomercials.
DOING MY SON A FAVOR. I TRIED IT WAS SO DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE OF THE HIGH EXPECTATIONS THEY TELL YOU ON THE TV. I RETURNED THE ITEMS AND WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A REFUND ON MY CREDIT CARD, NOT THE SHIPPING OF COURSE, WELL IT IS NOW SINCE 10/22/07, SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND ALL KINDS OF PROMISES HAVE NOT GIVEN ME ONE THIN DIME ON MY ACCT. I CONTINUE TO CALL AND BADGER THEM. WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO JUST SO THE MERE FACT THEY LIED TO ME AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE. MY QUESTION IS HOW DO THEY CONTINUE TO PUT THIS ON THE AIR AND CHEAT THE PUBLIC. THIS IS A START OF A NEW YEAR MAYBE THE PUBLIC WILL GET LUCKY AND THEY WILL BE PULLED OFF THE TV AIR WAVES.
I bought the razor and used it 6 times and dumped it. I have no idea how long it will keep the edge but it is so dull to begin with it makes no difference unless it gets better with use which I very much doubt. It give new meaning to the phrase, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”!
Try http://www.greatrazors.com as another poster said. I have bought the M3 Power blades from them and have used the first one for 4 weeks with smooth shaves. I’m still using it and don’t know when I will swap for a new blade.
I usually used a new blade every 2 weeks but that was pushing it beyond its sharpness and I usually missed a shave or two over a weekend.
It does cost a little more but well worth the price. I usually buy the 8 pack at WalMart for about $20 + sales tax. Ordering from CA, paid 23.50 + 3.50 shipping. The blade has lasted twice as long so the price is actually cheaper.
The reason products are sold “as seen on TV” (i.e. ONLY on TV) is because no stores will actually pick up the products to sell. So ruthless rip off artists pick them up cheap and lie about them, posing them as miracle products and greatly exaggerating their qualities, and make it basically impossible to return them. Then if they get into too much trouble, they disband the company and start a new one.
Don’t buy shit – if it wasn’t shit, you’d be able to buy it anywhere.
I ended up buying the product only to find out it’s pure junk, but only after the fact.
Here’s it’s flaws
1) It’s tacky, after about 5 minutes in your bathroom it won’t look good around ANYTHING. Plus it’s handle is hard to grip.
2) It has only 2 blades, which aren’t that sharp.
3) Every few inches of work on your face you use that little brush they gave you to to clean them out, and even if you succeed it never shaves right.
4) The cost to ship it back and get replacements are going to probably screw you over rather than buying a few blades while you’re at the store
If they wanted to make a good razor, they’d just make the razor’s with attachments to current standard types of razor handles. They’d follow current good designs, AND they would use decent blades.
Bottom line, don’t buy this stuff, it’s crap.
“is it possible that the big companies (gillette, bic, remington etc) are using “plants” to bash the product”
@jp Really good point. I have no clue if that is the case here but this kind of shit happens all the time by big companies (Sony anyone?)…
Hello, I went into walgreens yesterday to purchase what I consider the best razor I’ve used so far, (Fusion Power) and I came upon the “as seen on TV” section of the store. I was very excited to see the Infinity Razor because of it’s claims, and I almost put back my Fusion Power refils….I said to myself, “Hmm, this would be a good razor to have in my emergency backpack being that I am a worse case senario, if America ever goes into another GREAT DEPRESSION, need to be prepared all the time survivalist kinda guy. lol….where is my spell check…I decided not to try it even though I believe in new technology because I was being cheap. I wish that these claims are true because not needing to buy new refils would be a good thing. I’m hesitant to buy it now because of these mixed experiences I’ve read about here. If this rezor can really do what the company claims, it would be an excellent investment for an end of the world type situation…I mean, the last thing I want to be worried about while searching for food is these got damn hairs on my face sticking me all day long.
Hello, this is Eric again, I went out to Walgreens an hour ago and bought the Infinity Razor. I chose Walgreens because they have a good return policy…(the woman at the counter told me that if it doesnt work for me, bring it back for a full refund). I hate opinions, I prefer facts so here are the facts. The Infinity Razor is poorly designed…Unlike my favorite razor (Fusion Power), it has no openings in the back so the hairs cannot flow through the back as you shave and it requires constant cleaning…I mean you have to clean the thing after every stroke unless the hairs will cover the blades. You cant run water through the back to clean it like other razors so I had to find a lil brush to constantly clean it. I don’t care what the company claims but you cant beat 5 blades no matter how sharp your Razor is. I had to put down the Infinity Razor and pick up my So-called “DULL” Fusion Power and finish the job. This razor will not be going into my emergency back pack. If you have any doubts, find yourself a Walgreens or comparable store that sells the Infinity, make sure they have a good return policy and try it for yourself.
For $29.90 ($19.95 plus $9.95 s&h)
I was to receive two razors along with two free gifts (a fogless mirror and a nose trimmer). The body of the plastic nose hair trimmer was cracked open and the mirror was unavailable. As for the razors; they are DULL, Dull,Dull!! WORTHLESS!!
aLL OF THIS CRAP WILL BE SENT BACK! iT IS A FRAUD AND A scam!!!!!!
my daugter spent her allowance to buy me this worthless piece of crap for a xmas gift.i could get a better shave with a garden rake or a clamdigger. i wish the assholes who lined thier pockets with my 11 year olds money would be tied to a wall so i could shave thier pubes with this dull piece of shit.rot in hell infoworx scumbags.
Wow, lots of reviews here! I bought my razor in CT at Rite-aif for 9.99
To be honest Im getting pretty tired of going to Walgreens where they now have blades locked up they are so expensive and having to press a button to get blades and then p[ay through the nose to shave.
I work as an accountant CPA and this economy has been takning here for months and the media is just catching up.
I tried the razor and to be honest I didnt think it was all too bad. My facial hair grows fast so I have to shave every day. I agree that in the sideburn area it was awesome. IT was not the best unless used a few times on the rest of the face but heck. I think I am done spending 3 bucks a blade to shave.
What I might do , is keep my other razors and mix this blade in for some shaves and reduce the number of regular blades I use. I use the Mach 3.
I found out you can buy Mach 3 blades on Ebay for 1.00 each sealed in packs with free shipping. That is about 50% or more less than what the stores charge near me . So if you are sticking with that blade consider trying that out.
Ive only used this blade briefly so I dont know if it will hold up. I can say that by tapping the blade on the side of the sink during a rinse the hair comes right out and that the shave , while not the best, was not awful either.
I am going to do what it takes to save money as companies are raising prices like crazy and you need to save where you can.
Also DO NOT assume that the big companies wouldnt smatter these boards with messages of contempt for products, just as company plants could be praising it as the best.
I can tell you I am neither and its just ok, maybe worth mixing in to cut blade usage down.
Good luck shaving!
Marty
I spent the money on this crap ass razor just to try it out and figured hey, since they are offering a free hair trimmer I’ll give it a shot, worse case I’ll have a hair trimmer and a dull razor. WELL I have a dull razor and those bastards “refused” my letter to their PO box so I’m shit out of luck on the hair trimmer as well. Scam.
Does someone have a good address or phone # for these assholes? I have P.O.Box 1275 Osh Kosh, WI 54903 and no phone #. Let me know.
I not only bought one for myself, I fell for the endless advertising effort that left me getting 6 of them- one for each family member, and each one is equally THE WORST RAZOR WE HAVE EVER TRIED TO SHAVE WITH. I think a 1 year, used disposable razor is sharper. I wiould not suggest anyone falling for this line.
It actually hurts to shave with this razor.
I victimized myself by falling for the TV advertisements for this piece of CRAP…
Once ordered, I couldn’t wait to shave with the INFINITY and experience the advertised close shave with an extremely sharp, quality blade that was guaranteed for life. . The anticipation was almost unbearable.
However, what was actually unbearable, was the smarting from the first stroke of the blade against my face.
It felt like a rough -bladed whisker puller that tweezed the beard hairs from my face.
The Infinity Razor is “Made in China” with a horrible blade quality.
These are the same people that gave us poisonous dog food and toys covered with lead based paint.
With the “lifetime replacement guarantee”, It’s conceivable that one could replace the Razor after EVERY shave.
All that is required is to return the bad Razor via UPS along with $4.99 and a letter stating the reason for dissatisfaction. Please wait 6-8 weeks for processing. WHAT A DEAL!
I estimate the Razor’s net cost to be less than $1.00
My recommendation:
Save your money. Buy a cheap disposable razor and keep it for life.
I almost forgot… The INFINITY has a very pretty handle.
If something sounds too good to be true… It probably is.
DO NOT waste your money on this piece of crap. The absolute crappiest razor I have ever purchased!!! Couldn’t even complete a single shave without having to go over with a different razor. Save your hard earned money, go buy something else!
WOW. I should have taken a look at this site before I went out and bought this razor! How disappointing! I was so eager to get home and try this razor after purchasing it for $9.99 at a local drug store; honestly my Bic Disposable razor does a better job than this one did! It’s been about 15 minutes since I shaved and my face is all tore up, red & hurts like heck! Seriously, it’s almost like I shaved with an overused disposable razor that is completely dull! I have a 5 O’clock shadow and I just shaved with this razor 15 minutes ago! Crazy! Save your money—seriously. It isn’t worth it. The makers of this razor should go back to the drawing board on this one. I am glad I spent less than $10 bucks on it, but will definitely be returning it for a full refund with this same statement of dissatisfaction!
This razor is JUNK. The blade feels dull from the onset. The company is a sham. I have a light growth and the razor pulls like a cheap disposable that has been used for weeks.
Junk – Bad- Dull- HURTS,
this razor shaved lousy from the first try.
A .75 disposable razor gives better shaves, Don’t buy this thing.
D
This is the most CHEAPEST and the most POOR QUALITY PIECE OF SHIT I’ve ever bought. I’d wished that i read more on this review but Too Late. THAT SHIT HAPPENS.
Ordered a week ago, then found this forum. Called 800 on receipt to cancel order, had to call twice. Spent 20 min. on the phone just trying to cancel my order that hadn’t even shipped out yet. Wow….. Finally after asking what other information they needed to cancel my order, about 10 times, they hung up on me. They did confirm the cancellation of my order. Wish I had found this site first, but glad I found it before they shipped the order. Thanks.
Thanks for the info…almost fell for the commercial…will continue to purchase Mach 3
The razor came faster than expected. What a Piece of SHIT. The “FREE GIFTS” that were to come with them never arrived. All I got was a letter telling me, due to the overwhelming demand for the razor the company is experiencing temporary delay. My order was in October. Today is Feb. 10th. I am happy the other items never arrived, I would have to flush them like I did the shit razor. Thank you infinity for reminding me never trust TV infomercials.
Undeniable truth of life #345:If they have to sell it on TV…..
Almost purchased this product. After doing some research on the web, it seems that 19 out of 20 reviews are NEGATIVE. I have decided not to purchase this product and due to the many negative reviews I have read, STRONGLY URGE anyone else concidering the purchase of this product not to.
I have been buying the cheapest razors available for years. When, in the past few months I noticed that they were not providing five or six shaves, but only about one and a half to four, I decided to look around.
As if from an answered subconscious prayer, I saw the INFINITY commercial on TV one night. I was SOLD immediately.
I was very put off by the recorded sales technique. I never talked to anyone but a ROBOT. I worried for a long time about the legitimacy of the company, but since it was on a reputable television channel, I figured it’d be O.K. About three and a half weeks later, I had to call VISA to see if I had received a charge for it. They told me it went through the day before.
I received the delivery the next week… about four weeks later. I needed a shave because I had run out of my cheap razors except for one, which I was saving just in case.
When the delivery arrived I found the two razors and the nasal trimmer, but as regards the ’steamless mirror’, it was not included and I found instead, a ‘generic apology letter’ (this was how it was described on the bill of lading). SO…$34 counting delivery costs and I’m already feeling screwed.
I immediately went to the bathroom and opened one of the razors. I was VERY IMPRESSED with its lack of sharpness. It was much worse than the ultra cheap razors I had been using for the past few years. I used it again a couple days later (my beard is and has always been very thin and slow growing). The shaving prowess seemed to be worse. After the second shave and having several hairs left which the INFINITY would not remove, I pulled out the remaining one of my super-cheap razors and was AMAZED at how sharp it was compared to the alleged high-tech Infinity.
I told my sister about this while we were skiing last week and sharing a cabin in Wisconsin with our mates and gave it to her. She shaved her legs with it and I gave it to her. She’ll probably write a review later at this site.
I got home yesterday from the ski vacation and got out my second INFINITY high-tech, modern, advanced science razor and moisturized my face after a hot tub and a shower, opened the rigid packaging and began to shave with it. AGAIN I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the blade. It would hardly shave my beard at all.
WELL FOLKS! TWO OUT OF TWO IS NOT GOOD. If you count the lack of delivery of the promised mirror, the length of time it took to receive the delivery, the lack of personal service (there is no tel. no. to call to get a replacement) and the fact that BOTH of the INFINTY RAZORS were way below par for shaving a soft and pliable beard, I’d have to give this product a TEN THUMBS DOWN.
I swear, I’m not working for a competitor…I am a semi-retired musician/artist (see my website at http://home.midwest.net/~saxman/) who is 62 years old and have no vested interests in smearing the reputation of a company.
DO NOT BUY THE INFINITY! SAVE YOUR MONEY!… BUY THIRTY PACKS of CVS generic single-bladed razors for the the same price and get approximately 900 very smooth shaves for the same money as the INFINITY. HONESTLY! SWEAR TO GOD! I don’t have the economic wherewithal to experiment with these types of scam offers. I spent my whole life in service to others for very little economic return and don’t expect my karma to deliver this type of psychological blow again for a very long time. Live and learn.
In your case…learn from the mistakes of others…ME.
Sincerely,
Kevin
read all the bad reviews and disregard the good reviews; they were written by infinity razor stockholders……..THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK….YOU CAN PULL YOUR BEARD OUT WITH PLIERS AND GET A BETTER SHAVE…..
I got my order yesterday and used the blade the for the first time. All I can say is: SO FAR, SO GOOD. Almost as sharp as my Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. The test is HOW LONG BEFORE IT GETS DULL. I am not an employee or stockholder
Wow, I can’t believe my luck finding this site before ordering the Infinity Razor.
Thanks for all the warnings!
End of December I saw the infinity razor at a “As Seen on TV” store. Had previously heard about it. It was $15 buck and I figured, ‘if it’s $15 bucks and works for a long time, great. If not, then I’m out $15 bucks.’ Well, I’m out $15 bucks. I tried it and REALLY wanted it to work, but after 1 1/2 months of dermal punishment I went back to a Mach 3 razor with over a month’s usage on it. The Mach 3 razor beat it hand’s down in terms of comfort, speed of the shave and lack of razor burn. I’ll see if I can get any of my $ back from the company, but after reading some of the shares on this blog I see that this will probably be a fool’s errand. Caveat Emptor!!!!
This is a freud! Buyers beware! the razor is not even sharp nor does it work! The people who say it works are in on it! They go and look for websites like this just to promote their pruduct! Take it from experience! do not buy this product!
Dont buy it!
Tunde!
Almost as sharp as Gillette Mach 3 Turbo? Your either Retarded or have the Dullest Mach 3 in the world. Honestly you would have to be both to even compare it to something other than a belt sander! The Infitity Razor is nothing more than a used Prison razor with a crappy handle.
The infinity razor, is a joke. i just bought it at a retail store the first time I used it. i t felt like it was ripping my face off. it was so painful i had to stop. It didn’t cut my beard, but it did cut me up. This is probably the worst product on the market today. The advertisement say the last razor you want to own. That’s true once you use it you never want to shave again, it’s to pain full. This item needs to be removed from the market place, and the company sued.
The infinity razor is a joke. This is probably the worst razor, I have ever used. It says on the package the last razor you will ever want to purchase. That’s exactly right. Once you have used this razor, the pain is so great you don’t ever want the shave again. This product needs to be removed from the market place, and the company that produced it needs to be sued. It won’t cut your beard but it will rip your skin off, that’s what it should say on the package.
The Infinity Razor, is the worse razor I have ever used. I have been shaving myself for over 40 years. Using the Infinity razor was like using the same razor everyday for the past 40 years. The Infinity razor is a piece of crap. It won’t cut your beard but it will rip your flesh. It really must be taken off the market and the producers of the Infinity razor need to be sued.
Right. A razor that will last forever and you get two for a twenty?
No thanks. And I seriously doubt that the fogless mirror and trimmer work either.
People who make this shit oughta be hunted down and decapitated with their own fucking products.
Fuck off you damn scammers!
Just saw the add on TV and decided I was going to do some research…
well, glad I found this site (among others)….
It is obvious that this product sucks after reading the comments.
I cannot believe some jerks would be paid by the manufacturer to post a good review of that crappy product on the web, How do you guys feel about yourself having to do this kind of job for a buck? can you still look at yourself in a mirror? I would have a beard down to my feet!!! LOL
Anyways, not being american but having been here for 10 years I have to say that country is really amazing…
How come there is no way to get these crooks in Jail? a few tests of the products by an independent laboratory would quickly take that crap out of the market..same thing for the return policy, there is obviously an abuse but for a reason it remains unpunished! revolting!
I guess it requests more energy from the law makers to make sure we do not see a square inch of naked butt on TV or we do not ear the “F” word…..
We have lost common sense and sense of priorities….
Thank you so much, Joel for posting this review page for the Infinity Razor. It does present opinions from both sides. I believe it to be fair because of that fact. It does seem that there are some “vested” parties promoting the product, but the same could be said of the opposition.
The business practices seem shoddy. I would report them to your State Attorney General to be investigatied if you have experienced a monetary loss due to what you believe to be fraud.
I’ve seen three different 800 numbers (two on tv commercials, one here) for contacting the Infinity Razor sellers. How many more will pop up? Seems like a fly-by-night operation.
Again, thank you for the opinions.
I received this as a white elephant gift at the company Christmas party – now I know why! Apparently the giver obtained the razor at a discount store for less than the 19.95 TV advertised price, but it was the same Infinity razor product (A pair of these cheap, gray colored razors with cheap cast metal razor stands) I tried it once and it yanked the hair out of my face and hurt like hell. I only had two days of growth too. It felt like shaving with one of those really cheap .79 cent razors. And that’s exactly what this is. I tossed both razors in the trash and would NEVER purchase this item. I advise you not to get scammed on buying into this gimmick. You WILL be disappointed. The warranty claims they will send you new ones for life, but you have to ship them back and pay a $5.95 handling fee. The razors alone aren’t worth .95 cents! WHAT A SCAM!
I bought one at Walmart a week ago, and have been using it daily. It feels of cheap plastic, and the stand is cheap too…I would have paid more for it to feel more solid; not sure why they made it so chincy feeling. The blade, however, is well made and sharp (didn’t pull my hair like others have claimed it did…maybe not the same one…doesn’t sound like it from descriptions, and mine doesn’t look quite like the one pictured in this review). However, so far the blade has not dulled, and by this time I would have already gone through 2 of my regular blades (I have been using a Mach razor blade with 2 blades). The $9.95 price tag at walmart is not bad at all for what I got. Believe me I didn’t expect much from it, I figured it was BS, and, after reading the warranty (which is so full of holes they could easily NOT replace it with a simple excuse), I figured my ten bucks was wasted. However, I shaved and it did as good as any two-blade razor I have ever used. I’ll be very happy if it lasts a month as it will have saved me money on buying blades (though it should last as long as they claim). I’m 33, I don’t shave peach fuzz, and I don’t work for the company or sell the blades. I think the majority of people are buying crap from a website thats not real or maybe some scam artist taking advantage of people. I don’t know, but the Infinity I bought from Walmart works just fine for a 2-blade razor, and one thing I did have to do after a week was clean the stubbles out from between the blades (which wasn’t easy because the design; and so far that is really my only complaint). On the other side of the coin, one could easily claim the negative responses above are just people who either work for razor blade companies or people who sell razor products and are afraid the infinity will cut into their business of selling overpriced blades. I don’t know. All I can tell you is that I have had a good experience with it thus far.
No, wait, I use the sensor…not the Mach…sometimes I buy cheap blades to save money…of brands. I dunno…I just think it seems a little odd that many of the negative reviews above push a specific type of razor.
Hey..
I JUST bought mine at Walmart also for 9.99 came to like 10.47 or somthing like that.
i could not wait to get home and shave with this GREAT razor.
And im going to repeat what one poster all ready said
it was good for about 4 swipes of the cheek. then it STOPPED cutting and started PULLING i was like WHAT THE HELL???
it clogs i got my razor brush and started cleaning it. Then i tried shaving in reverse thinking that would do the trick.. YEAH for about 4 swipes then it started PULLING again. i was like DAMN IT THAT HURTS. this thing is JUNK. Then i reaplied my shaving cream and tried again. it kept on clogging up i was like ITS JUNK there is almost 11 dollars down the damn drain. And i finished and cleaned up with my old dull but SHARPER and better then the BRAND NEW Infinity razor.
ITS junk i dont know who the hell would think other wise. IT PULLS THE HAIR IT DOESNT CUT IT!!!
IM VERY disapointed once AGAIN i fell for a gimic
when will i EVER learn?
VERY PISSED OFF

teh internetz has saved me money, thanks to all the comments
I just purchased the razor at my local walgreens for 10 dollars. I have just shaved once with it, and I have noticed two distinct things about this razor. 1. You must shave at a higher angle than any other razor, this causes you to end up cutting yourself more, but it does shave well when used this way. 2. This razor is not made of a special steel, it is obvious that it would not dull as quickly as other razors because the blades are not as exposed. That would make it harder to shave with, but remain ‘newly’ sharp.
This is quite arguably the worst product I have ever spent money on. These blades are so dull to begin with, it’s like someone went ice skating on them for a few weeks, then decided to attach them to an interestingly shaped handle. I have a fairly thin facial hair. I lathered up good, then ran this blade over the same spot on my throat a solid dozen times. I would be generous by saying it removed 40% of the hair. I finally just grabbed one of my wife’s disposable Walgreen’s brand razors to finish the job. Save your money and accept the facts: the technology does exist to make blades that never dull, but it’s not anywhere even remotely close to this product.
I brought the infinity razor at rite aid used it one time could not take it back it was horrible.
The whole shaving thing is a scam in the first place. Why do men shave at all? Do yourself a favor, go to the barber 4 times a year and have them mow your face with clippers, for a couple of extra bucks. You will save a fortune on the stupid little shavers that cost 5c each to produce, and you know what they charge for them. You will also save a lot of time.
Other than that, don’t buy these multi blade scams by the razor companies. Get the cheapest blades you can find, clean them well, and keep them dry. A little mineral oil does wonders as well. You can use them for months.
The “shaving industry” is bilking us for billions, no wonder the scum bags who came up with a “forever blade” knew it would work (to scam millions out of an incredibly gullible US public).
We are scammed by our producers of low quality highly packaged food.
Our self serving medical system, which puts the fox (AMA which is a profit driven institution controlled by drug companies and huge high profit medical concerns) in charge of the hen house.
The FDA, which does more to protect bad business profits by far than the public.
Our legal system is run for lawyers profits by lawyers profits, hostile to our quality of life. Every time you turn around you can be sued or charged in ways that threaten your freedom and all you have worked for in life which can be gone in a moment, taken by dishonest prosecution driven by success driven advancement of prosecutors and police, and profit driven frivolous law suits which make lawyers rich and leave consumers paying for it.
Our own government, which is run by 2 parties who make their power solid by pitting us against one another for and against issues that will never be resolved, because those valuable issues is power over us, which uses our own power against us to keep us in bondage.
We are sandwiched by governmental influence and controls by Bad business like these razor makers and credit card companies and phone and cable companies and bad banks, with bad government and a bad press misinforming us, and bad special interest groups like bad environmentalists like the global warming jokers and endangered species lying scammers and bad business lobbys like the milk industry and others … Churches are working us for every penny as well and using fear of hell and others around us who don’t believe as they do, to control and milk us for as much as they can get, don’t think they are not. We give to charities (or more often only talk about it) so we can be seen as “good people” when most of those charities are complete scams which do little for anyone but those directing them, and there is so much more involved in the mind control and scamming it would blow each and every mind if understood.
You can’t even really actually own property in the world today, the supreme court took care of that in the US and it’s been that way world wide for a long time.
It’s to the point that honest people really can’t make it to a secure corner in this world, no one believes them when they tell the truth (lies work better in our current prevalent pattern of thinking) and they are never safe. It takes a minute to set things in motion, for someone to do you and take all you have and ever will have, away. And that person who did it to you is just as vulnerable as you were.
We complain about razors that don’t work? We are so relieved we don’t get taken for another $20 … LOL! A least we can find out for $20 or $30 that they don’t work … in the mean time we are being bled and used, and our government is not only condoning it, they are directly taking part in it as well, so are 99% of churches out there. Most of the content coming from your idiot box (your TV) and entertainment industry in movies and the like is working you, formating your thought into useful paradigms and keeping you in such a maze of disinformation and creating such a wall of false perception, that you will probably never get out.
But hey, at least you saved $20 … Buwaaaaahahahahaahahahaaa!
i’m glad i found this site. i was going to order it and if it didn’t work, send it back. but i’m glad i read all this first. we all really need to beware of the t.v. ad’s we see i guess, eh?
sorry to all that got ripped by it :-/
Holy shit is that guy serious with that post? As I started reading, I was forming a reply based on his complete lack of knowledge of growing facial hair and shaving and how most people live their lives and whatnot, but as I kept reading, I realized dude is straight up shithouse crazy. I’m just surprised he didn’t work 9/11 and the Holocaust and the faked moon landing into his banana-nutcase rant.
I would however like to wish him the best of luck with the AIDS the CIA injected into his brain. Shoulda been wearing your tin-foil hat!
Terrible Razor….a disposable razor does a better job….a complete ripoff
M A Khan
Are these guys joking? It feels cheap and shaves like a kids toy. Those disposable Bics are cheap enough and they are crap …but I would choose one of them over this thing.
And you have to PAY them to return it! Maybe they will refund your money in the end …but you have to send BOTH razors in plus $7.95 for EACH one to get a refund….
I just cannot believe that this snake-oil company can exist in America today without the FTC shutting them down.
If you are a consumer …please take my word …keep your money – better still you might have better luck betting on the ponies –
puh-leeze…some federal agency has to step in!
I almost bought one today at Rite-Aid but instead I decided to Google it first. Glad I did and many thanks to those of you who, unfortunately, tried it before me.
The most unfriendly razor I ever used..
The handle is awkward to hang onto whick makes the razor hard to use..
It is not as sharp as advertised it takes forever to shave with…
I think the company need to buy everyone who bought the razor a razor of their choise…
Four thumbs down…
They have recently started showing this commercial where i live and i was so excited to have a razor like this. Then i found the reviews. I am so glad i looked this product up before having all these issues others have had. Thank goodness for reviews!
Go to the website, and notice there is no way to contact them. I shaved with it once, and it wasn’t that bad. The second time I shaved with it, it felt, I assume like what it would feel like to have my face waxed! Total piece of junk!
I am a very practical person, and never really expected the infinity razor to actually last forever. We’d be quite foolish to think that were true…
But, I did expect that it would be sharp for a longer time that a regular blade would be. I’ve never had much money, and I tend to just buy the cheapest razors anyways; so figured that this razor would be at least as good as dollar store razors.
First, nobody has talked much about the handle. The handle is about the crappiest thing in the world. It doesn’t pivot and is cheaply made.
Of course, I never expected that the handle would be good anyways. I threw away the handle, and found that the blade slid onto an old, non-pivoting, razor handle I had (doesn’t say the name on it).
Shaving with it is about the same as shaving with a cheap one-blade razor. Yes, you have to drag it more times over your face and have to drag it slow. But, when you do that – it does about as good as cheaper blades.
I have been using it since Feb 5 and it is now March 22. I might say it is a bit less sharp than it was when I bought it. It has certainly lasted far longer than any blade I have ever used before.
In all… if you’re not spoiled by using fancy $20 razors in the past and don’t expect it to be the sharpest razor in the world, and have a razor handle it will fit on then it is a good deal. I bought mine at Walgreens for a total of $11.90.
Was it worth $11.90? I’d say it was.
Shave slow, pull it more times over your face, change it to a better handle. And, everybody else… stop whining so much about something that only cost you less than $20. Did you really expect that it would be some magic tool from God?
well, i made my fine purchase from carole wright and was so axious to try my new razor,i lathered up as soon as i opened the package. i made a swipe, looked at my 3 day growth, then i looked at the razor,i thought i must have been holding it backwards,
(since the handle is weird anyway),because all i did was wipe the shaving cream off!i farted around for 10 minutes trying to shave, could not keep it from clogging up long enough to tell if it would cut and finally used my old razor to get a decent shave, i won’t waste any more of our time except to say, the old 10 cent bic disposable beats this thing hands down. if any of you think we are scamming, try this, go to your lcal wal-mart or drug store to by one of these jewels, because you can return it,i guarentee, you can not get back to the store fast enough.!!!
I was thinking about purchasing the Infinity razor but was not sure why Gillette would make a razor that never went dull cause they would lose money. I am sure glad I came upon this website cause I will be sticking with my Mack 3 now…thanks for the help!
Only in American!
Wow, you Yanks are really stupid, without researching you go out and buy something that you believe to be true because it came on TV.
Well now go and use this “wonderful” product, hahahaha!!!!!
Keep on living the American Dream you fools!!!!!!!!!!!!
this razor sucks. what a waste of money. and the free gifts are not free because you have to send in 5 dollars for S&H. what a crappy product.
I just called customer service. I had odered the blade on March 22nd and called back on March 24th to cancel. They tolld me they would make a note in my account that I called and that they would cancel my order. I just called AMEX (3/27) and was told the order was processed today and they would be shipping it out. I told them about my call on Monday and they show no record of it (of course) f*ing lying scamming jerks. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and they said he was in a meeting. Bothtime I called, it sounded like I was talking to a guy in India, but the rep said he was in California. Anyway, demanded a call back right away and they said someone would call me back withing 24-48 hours. They said their system takes 24 to 48 hours to process the transaction and the guy – (he said his name was Kyle ? Carl? cant tell due to thick Indian accent) and they could not have canceled it on Monday. I only called to complain that AMEX showed the charge request, when they never should have gotten one to begin with. I was told on Monday my oder would be canceled. Again, now they say they have no record of my call on Monday, and they can’t stop the order. I told them not to ship it and they said they can’t stop that. I said if you jus processed it today, there was no way they could have shipped it already. They would not budge. Iwill call AMEX and contest this order and inform them that if I get it in the mail, I don’t have to pay for it as I had already cancelled it prior to them processing my order. I won’t use the damn thing, but maybe throw it away or mark return to sender. They actually offered me $5.95 to accept the order as it was anyway and allow it to go through without contesting it with AMEX. No freakin’ way! Idiots, all of them! Stay away from this product and report them to the Better Business Bureau. Anyone who posts a positive remark about this company is living in dreamland or drinking the kool-aide!
Disgusted in VA
okay so I’m not the smartest man in the world, this razor sounded too good to be true and of course it turned out to be just that.. what a waste, hey I know I’ll give it to my ex and hope she shreds her legs with it.. WHAT A POS Scam Razor.. best wishes.
Horrible razor. I had to shave over with my Fusion each shave. I thought….OK, if the blade lasts forever and I don’t have to replace the Fusion blade more than every few months, maybe not a bad deal, but a bit of a pain in the ass. Within a couple weeks, the Infinity blade dulled even more, and I scratched my neck when the blade started sliding side to side on the handle. It got progressively more loose until it became unusable at all. Poor shave, piece of crap, costs more to replace the blade or razor than you pay for it. Total waste of money. Total scam. Don’t spend a dime on it.
Was about to place an order, no way…..good thing we got the WWW to give us real honest opinions.
What a piece of shit scam. Brand new, I was the first to use it, and it pulled and tugged on my hair. I switched to shaving gel from cream….SAME THING. I threw it in the garbage. Don’t waste your time to throw someone elses junk away!!
Thank-you all for the reviews, I will not be buying this product.
I have just spent the most enjoyable 15 minutes reading the ‘rants and rage’ of my fellow consumers. I truly do appreciate your comments because they are saving me at least $20, plus the grief of ordering what is so often referred to here as “A Piece Of Shit” scam… I too am an ‘active’ consumer in that I will squeal like a stuck pig when a scam company screws me out of 2-bucks, much less 20 bucks.
The entertainment value – and again I apologize – but the entertainment value at your expense has been worth well more than the cost of this POS… Hah, I learned a new acronym.
But, I must confess, I got screwed on the razor sharpener scam that is floating around. Doing research before buying is the best action of all.
Happy shaving, my friends.
A Clever Englishman: We were also foolish saving England’s ass in two world wars.
Just used mine for the first time. I’m in my 60’s, retired, and I shave about twice a week. Today was 4 or 5 days of growth. Maybe it’s not fair to judge this razor this way, but I normally use Bic razors – the cheapest ones I can get – ten for a dollar, something like that.
Anyway I started on the right side of the mustache area, and immediately noticed it was rough going. Just like what I would expect with a dull razor that had been used once or twice too many times. I then used my old Bic which had been used for at least the last 3 shaves all of which were spaced several days apart. Major difference. It still removed growth on the left side of the mustache area pretty smoothly with just about no resistance.
I wound up shaving with it, while trying the Infinity Razor intermittently, here and there, and then I went back over my whole face with it after I was finished shaving. It got what I had missed the first time, and did it with just minor discomfort.
So far, I would have to say this is unsatisfactory, but I will try to shave with it tomorrow to give it another chance with less growth to contend with, and then report again.
The so-called “razor sharpener” available at Walgreens and other drug stores is also a POS…beware.
Hey Damon.
Just want to say, DON’T knock the 79 cent razors. I buy them when they are on sale for 89 cents or less and get three plus great shaves before changing razors.
BUT, I’m glad I ran across this site coz I was seriously thinking of buying one of these infinity’s. Now if I can find one on eBay for less than a dollar (shipping included) I may give it a try/
I was just in a Rite Aid drug store in California and they sell this razor for $9.99. I’m glad I didn’t buy it. The Mach III is superior. The Mach III blades last me 6-8 mos.
If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is, as with this piece of junk razor. It’s dull right out of the package. It feels like it’s trying to pull the hair out of your face instead of shaving it. I don’t want a lifetime replacement, I want my money back. I just got screwed out of $20.00 for the razor plus $10.00 for shipping. This sucks and I won’t stop until I get my money back. Report them to the BBB and anywhere else you can think of. The more people I can talk to about this rip off, the better off the consumer will be. Has anyone got their money back? I’d like to know if you did.
i bought mine at cvs . a butter knife works just as good as this junk pile .
Got this from my wife. Use it once to trim my sideburns wouldn’t even do that. Save your money don’t buy this!
I AGREE, 100%, WHOLEHEARTEDLY, COMPLETELY, AND WITHOUT A DOUBT THIS RAZOR IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PEICE OF SHIT YOU COULD EVER USE TO BUTCHER YOUR FACE. My wife bought me one, she thought she was getting a good deal at one of those “As Seen on TV” stores. I opened this thing, tried to use it… I WOULD RATHER TRY TO SHAVE WITH THE SHARP EDGE OF A TIN CAN LID- IT REMINDED ME OF THE TIME I DARED MY SISTER TO PUT A RUNNING EPILADY ON MY FACE(IT REALLY FUCKING HURT). I have bought 20 packs of disposable razors at THE DOLLAR TREE that shaved better. For those who are counting, thats 5cents per razor, using the same razor for a week- and the disposable is STILL sharper after one week that that friggin “Infinity” peice of shit.
Here are some places to get good deals on good razors.
Dollar General Stores
Family Dollar
The Dollar Tree
Rite Aide Pharmacies(they have a 3 or 4 blade generic disposable that is hella good and really inexpensive)
Big Lots
And, remember kiddies, if you seen it on TV…. it’s gotta be SHIT!
My husband bought him and I one and I used mine the first time and I said to my husband this is shit its takes off skin but leaves the hair look into your razor after using it its true. But then I thought to myself maybe I wasn’t holding it right so I used it agian today instead of my venus and the hair on my legs are still there everyone!!!!! THIS PRODUCT SUCKS DONKEY BALLS AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE THIS PIECE OF SHIT UNLESS THEY JUST WANT TO BLOW MONEY. I believe the best razor for the females is the venus each one they made has worked great for me even when dull. And for the men thats a given the mach 3 I used my husbands several times and thats the up most best razor ever.(the mach 3 not the piece of shit that can’t cut water)
I bought this on clearance at Walmart. I was excited to try it since I hate paying for razor blades. I think they’re pretty expensive considering how cheap they are to manufacture. Anyway, from the very first shave this razor under performed. The best description is that it feels like it’s ripping your beard out. I thought this might be a case of getting used to it so I continued to use it for about a month. No difference. Maybe it never gets dull, but it is a painful, mediocre shave at best. One observaiton – I notice alot of people mentioning another brand by name. Was this some well contrived plan actually meant to promote another brand instead?? What will they think of next! Create a sub-par product, post negative comments about it all over the net and promote your REAL product in the negative posts about the sub-par product. Seems t be happeneing with a lot of other products as well… Caveat Emptor. Anything goes in cyberspace.
Oh my God , how is this legal; I did not even get one successful shave for my money!
While I am writing this, their infomertial is playing on the TV in the background.
These people are not only blatently and publicaly ripping off the public they are physically assaulting the public because it is painful to use this fraudulant device.
How can we put a stop to this criminal insanity!?
I got one of these from my mother as a gift. I HAVE NEVER CUT MYSELF SO MUCH WITH A RAZOR. Stay AWAY from this scam of a product!
after two shaves, it was dull and pulling! what a rippoff!
Either the angle of the blades are incorrect, or the blades are dull.
It somehow didn’t feel like the blades were dull however.
I had to stop halfway through my first shave and switch to my old blade, I didn’t want to leave my adam’s apple on the bathroom floor.
I bought the Lady Infinity Razor at CVS. When I opened the package the razor blade cartridge wasn’t even in the package! Package was sealed and the razor part is hidden in the holder so I just assumed the razor blade would be there. The guarantee was there, but no razor blade! So Ridiculous!
worst razor i ever bought. nothing good about it.
I do not work for the company, nor do I have any associations with such. Maybe some comments are “plants” from such people, and MAYBE the negative plants are from people affiliated with competition…. hmmm?
I’ve never seen an ad, never heard of it, just happened upon this razor at checkout. After using it, I wanted to find out what makes it different, which is how google gave me this site.
I’ve used it on ALL parts of my body, and it works great! If anything, the blades are SHARPER than what I am used to, and did get a few nicks. Subsequently, I’d caution people to slow down and be careful the first few times.
I don’t know why so many people have not liked it, but for 10 bucks you should give it a chance yourself. There are too many conflicting comments here.
Like most of you, I have been duped out of my $$$$. The Infinity razor ia the worst piece of trash I have ever been gullible enough to purchase. The most painful shave I have ever had. I tried to send them a letter – mail came back as “Undeliverable.” The website has no way to speak to a living person, even one in Pakistan or Bangladesh.
I bought the Infinity Razor about 2 weeks ago and it is a piece of junk…I took it back to Walgreens and they gave me a new one..same thing…doesnt shave at all…Please do not buy this razor, as I said it is worthless…I will return this one also as Walgreens are good for returning merchandise…A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!
I rec’d this as a stocking gift for Christmas and didnt’ expect to use it at all but I thought I would try it to see. This thing is JUNK as I suspected and threw it away. it’s a shame money was even spent on this product. I can’t imagine anyone praising this thing. Buyer Beware!
I bought this razor and found out it was the worst razor i ever paid 10.00 dollars for, thats for sure. This razor would not shave my beard even one time and it pulled on the hair then. It is truly a piece of crap and should be taken off the market as a big RIP_OFF, because it is. Whoever has the dare to buy one, you better keep your reciept because you’ll surely be returning it. I have not one good thing to say about this razor. It suks!!! A real piece of JUNK! A money-maker for someone and a money-taker for all of us. JUNK!!JUNK!!JUNK!!JUNK!!JUNK!!
the Infinity Razor, is the worst product I have ever receved from a T.V.add. the first time I used it it took me 30 min. to stop the bleeding, the blades come out of the box dull and the angle of the hadle makes it almost inposable to use without getting cut, if you are a head shaver like myself NEVER NEVER use it on your head, it took my Doctor 45 min. to get all of the nicks and cuts on my head treated two even requiered stitches.
now that I have healed up and got the stitches removed I have gone back to my multi blade disposables. and as for getting a refund from the company, Good luck, even if you do get a refund, after the expence of returning them and the charges from the company for the return, you net refund on two razors will be about $2.00
if it will work I plan to use the razor to peel veg, because as a razor it is not only usless but dagerous, BE WARNED!
Jason Wells
I bought one at Walgreens and it no different than a dollar disposable razor. My offer came with get the trimmer for 4.99 through the mail. I tried and my offer was sent back as return to sender refused and unable to forward. Just so happens this is the same address that you are supposed to get new razors from. I hope walgreens will give me money back cause this thing is a total scam.
TOTAL CRAP!
They’re right, this IS the last razor I’ll ever buy…because the Infinity Razor experience was SO horrible that I’m going to grow a beard and LIKE it.
Thanks for taking my money Infinity.
I found the infinity razor at the checkout line at Walmart. Junk. It was $9.95 without the extras everyone else seemed to get, and it lasted 3 shavings. I have to shave all over or my husband would call me Cousin It. So I must have some pretty rough hair to dull this razor so fast. i get a longer lasting service from the Bic triple blade disposables. And the curved handle is quite awkward.
I have never cut my ball sack before using this razor
thank you soooo much for this site!! I was about to order and then decided to look for reviews. I’ll get back to my fusion razor.
I BOUGHT ONE ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND IT WORKED GREAT. NOW THE RAZOR HEAD KEEPS FALLING OFF WITH EVERY STROKE AND THE STRIP FELL OFF. AND THEY WANT ME TO SEND THEM $6.99 FOR A REPLACEMENT…WELL I WOULD RATHER GO AND BUY MORE BLADES FOR THAT COST. IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE A FREE LIFETIME REPLACEMENT YEA RIGHT…TO BAD I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT AT FIRST NOW ITS JUST A BIG POS. DONT BUY IT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Well it’s true what they say… if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is .. I ordered the razor and it is beyond a doubt the worst item on the marker, to be blunt.. it is a piece of crap.. I too tried to return it and got such a song and dance that it really ticked me off, to the point that I just tossed it into the trash… as for the people here who say they love it…. I wonder if they have the same piece on junk that the rest of us hate….. it should be pulled from the market… as for the person in Canada who wants one… FORGET IT, you would be better off with a 99 cent disposable…
I went to the site and had all my info filled in, then I though let me do a quick search to see what other people think. I am so glad I did. Thanks to everyone who took the time to warn others. Sounds like I was in for a nightmare.
I am a loyal Mach XVII user and could never get a close shave on my sandpaper or balloons. My kids were always getting scrapes from their balloons and now they can play with them all day without any problems. Have you ever tried to use gritty sand paper? Just horrible, if any of you use sandpaper, take it from me, after you use your Incrapity Razor on it, it will be as smooth as can be and work unbelievably well. I am glad they send me new razors every week because I am building a house out of them. I have read in other chat rooms that building a house out of “as seen on TV” products will make you look like you are a “TV star”
(I am not a plant, I am a meat popsicle)
I’m holding my crap Infinity razor until this is aired on 60 minutes or some other scam revealing TV show. I believe that this product is still being sold to un-suspecting customers in stores across the country. Someone with some pull may see this as a chance to get 30 – 60 minutes of TV coverage. this is a peice of CRAP..! It cut my face on the first run across…I called them about it and the man in India or somewhere said I could send it back or take it as a lesson learned..! Un-believable. I thought they record those kinds of calls for help in customer services.!
I’m waiting for someone to get hold of this that can do something about it, like pull them all off the shelves like they do with everything that can hurt you out there. It hurt me..! I bled for 10 minutes before it stopped…!
If you have this razor…don’t throw it out yet…We’ll get m yet…!
BH – Aston, Pa
funny how the fist 3 post are all the same guy sucking the infinity razor off. dude stop blowing the razor
I bought this junky razor at CVS and I bought the pink one for my wife for Mother’s Day. It worked good at first but after a month the white strip fell off and the blade was always slipping around making it hard to shave with. The handle is too curved so it keeps falling out of my hands and it cuts us all up more than any razor in my life. I have to go over the same spot I just shaved a bunch of times then I have to use a different razor to go back and get the hair the infinity left behind so it takes me even longer to shave and I end up using more shaving creme then ever. So if anyone wants to buy it go ahead because everyone is different about how they like things just don’t buy it online or through the mail buy it in a store where you can return if you want. Good thing it only costed $10 not $100 or else i’d really be pissed about it not working as well as the T.V. said it would and not as well as I thought it would!!!!
Infinity Razor??? What a joke! I just purchased an Infinity Razor from Wal-Mart for $ 9.88. It is the biggest piece of junk I’ve ever purchased. I have a heavy beard and even lathered up with a good shaving gel, the dull blade pulled and tugged at my beard. It was the most painful shave I’ve ever experienced in my life. Whenever I was “finished”, I was bleeding and still needed a shave. If you have plans on using this razor for a lifetime, then you better buy a lifetime supply of styptic pencils. Here’s the real kicker. In order to get a replacement (and who’d want one???) you have to send back the shitty razor with a letter stating the reason for the dissatisfaction plus you will need to send a $4.99 check or money order to THEM in order to cover their shipping and handling. Bottom line is that you’d spend more getting a replacement than you originally paid for the razor. These “As Seen On TV” products have turned ripping off people into a real art! Buyers beware!
Well, I got mine for 9.99 at the local Walgreen’s, and must say it is OK. I’ve only used it three times. I figure for $10.00, I will keep using it. I have not had the negative experiences listed above, because, as I said, I purchased it at Walgreen’s and don’t have to deal with extra charges and other duplicitous marketing strategies. It seems to work. I shave in the shower, no foam or soap, just a clean face. I have fairly thick stubble on a daily basis and have a goatee, so maybe the fact I just do 3/4 of my face has something to do with it. I will keep using it, as it hasn’t nicked my face. I also clean it well after I use it and run a hair dryer over it when I am finished. I do this with all of my blades; I read once that leaving a blade with any moisture on it makes it dull quicker. So, my verdict based on very limited use: it works for me.
BTW, I don’t know anything about this company nor do I work for anyone connected with this product or anything else like it. If it lasts a shorter time than my other blades, I will definitely write back. So far, so good.
Ok, I’m a female I have a razor and one for my husband. He dosen’t use his, he won’t tell me why, (dosen’t believe it will work on his face). I use mine to shave my legs and it’s great. I LOVE it !!!! I use it almost everyday with shaving cream. I leave it in the shower but for now on i’ll take it out of the shower someone said it’s better to remove it to keep the moisture away. No one is paying me. I’ve been using it since January 08. I got mine from Rite-Aid pharmacy and it was $9.99.
Save your money and don’t buy this crap. I used the blade the first time and had the pleasure of experiencing the worst and most painfully shave of my life. The blade is not sharp at all and design makes is almost impossibles to get descent shave. It’s impossible to shave under the chin or neck.
All I can say is this is the worst money I’ve ever spent. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.
had mine just a week and have already bought some bics- this product is a ripoff- anyone plugging it here are on the payrole.
First off I do not work for the Infinity razor company. I don’t know what is wrong with some people. I am a lumberjack and I have been using the Infinirty razor instead of a chainsaw to chop off branches and even cut down whole trees for a few years now and have not even changed razors yet. I have even used it to carve out hundreds of model airplanes and small animals out of solid steel and it’s still like a new razor.
My husband insisted on buying one of these at Wal-Mart lastnight. I told him it was crap, and a waste of $10. He bought it anyway, brought it home, took one swipe down his cheek and said.. “We need razors.”
This thing is crap. Don’t use it, don’t buy it (unless you want to gift it to someone you truly, truly hate).
Luckily we can return this thing to Wal-mart. I feel bad for those who can’t though. :(
Hi Folks!! Billy Mays here for Infinity Razor!!!!
Watch me use this razor to shave steel wool. Now, I’m gonna apply a little OxyClean to my beard and shave with this same razor. See that? My beard just falls off because the blade never dulls.
I bought the infinity razor a month ago, with shipping and handling the balance was $40.
the first month it shaved ok(not near as close as my mach 1 razo by any means)
a month has passed and it’s duller than hell now.today I literally cut both sides of my neck open trying to shave with it.so much for the no nicks claim in their commercial.
I don’t recommend anyone to buy this product,it simply doesn’t stand up to their hype, and it’s by no means going to be the last razor you’ll have to buy.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but…I think…I REALLY THINK that Superjik is being very sarcastic and unrealistic. I mean, you’d have to change razors after a few hundred trees! Geez, seriously. Even I caught that. You wascally wabbit, you. (hehe)
I purchased the Infinity Razor and after two weeks, threw it away. The blade will not stay on the handle, the blade rusted and the handle is very hard to grip and keeps sliding out of my hand. Also, after two weeks, I was ready for a new blade, as the one I was using was dull. I rate this item a 0 out of 5 stars, with 0 being very, very, very poor.
Phone ordered this item about a month ago. Big hassle, immense push to buy several units. Finally settled for four razors for something over thirty dollars. They shipped two! Gave it a good shot, one month of shaving my moderate beard. It was never as sharp as a new disposable, but I continued figuring it would “go the distance.” WRONG! Last attempted shave it was removing my beard by the roots. It is now in the trash. I have returned to Gillette’s disposables.
The first time I used this razor, it shaved like a Bic that had been used for four months. The second time, I shaved one swath and abandoned it for a Bic that had been used for four months-ah, much better. This “razor” was never sharp. What a load of crap!
I too believed the advertisement for the Infinity Razor. The extras did not come as a note said that the demand was so high they ran out. If they were as bad as the razor good! I probably could get as good a shave with a tweezers. It is the worst piece of junk I ever purchased. Pass this one up. Anyone who says it is great did not get the same product as I did.
OMG I can’t believe all this comments..I bught my husband the razor as a gift.Boy did I feel foolish after he told me what a piece of junk it was. He really had to use his old USED razor to get a better shave. He said it just tore up his face and didn’t even get all the hair…….I bought mine at CVS I was going to try and get my money back but after hearing all the problems I am beginging to wonder whats up.
I purchased the infinity razor (no caps) it is the worst razor that I have ever used. My pocket knife will shave better than this junk.
Don’t waste your money. It’s a scam. The blades is very very…………… dull.
I bought this razor for my fiance’ because he was leaving for Iraq and I wanted him to have a good razor that he didn’t have toworry about charging up. He said it felt like he was being skinned alive!! He used it about 3 times, hoping it would improve but I eventually sent his some expensive disposable razors to replace it and he said they were much better!!! DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT, IT’S CRAP!!!!
I gambled the $20, not so good for shaving but I did think of some other uses:
Peel Potatos.
Replace waterbording as our official torture method (just make the victim shave with it).
Makes a good boomerang.
Scrape the paint from the side of an old boat.
Excercise handles for Hobbits to do push ups.
Travel razor (Can take on plane since it wouldn’t possible cut anything).
I am sure there are many other uses!
As a 47 year old female, I have a lot of shaving experience and expect that I know a good razor from a bad one. The Lady Infinity is more than bad, it is absolute crap!!!. It pulls and tugs at even the shortest of hairs causing numerous cuts. Not only that, but after it’s first and only use in my house, I placed it back into it’s holder on my bathroom shelf and by the very next morning the blades had already developed rust. Please Do Not Buy This Product unless you like wasting money and supporting people who want to rip you off.
It’s a fucking scam! The blades are thick and jagged as an opened tuna can lid. The whole scam is that it’s sold for $10 and the lifetime guarantee says that you can have the razor replaced for life but you must send $5 for shipping and handling. I’ll never buy anything from TV again!!!
I purchased this product like a fool. The first time I used it I could tell it was cheap. I BIC 1 blade works better than this razor.
Sand paper is a better alternative!
What a joke,I use this thing one time, and the second time it would cut.
wal-mart has a similiar product, It is called infinity razor. that’s unreal, what a surprise. $9.95 wow. 2 blade razor. im a bodybuilder. i have 2 shave alot. i was”nt impressed. hair is hard 2 get out underneath tha blades. stick with tha 5 blade gillette. but tha damn razors r $15 4 4. buy a new razor when tha old 1 is done.$8.99
as for it staying sharp i really couldn’t say; its already clogged beyond hope with hair from my first attempt at use (give me a bic metal shaver any day!) it was quite sharp when i got it for $10 at walgreens, but you gotta read their “lifetime replacement gaurantee” in order to get the replacement, mail them the razor along with about $5 shipping and handling, so they can send you another pos razor! that way you’ll be out more than $15 instead of just the ten!
i saw the Infinity razor commerical on tv and it sounded appealing and thought what the heck i may get that but something told me wait not so fast so i typed in infinity razor online and this website i came across thanks guys for your reviews on this heap of trash razor after reading all these reviews of nothing but shear horror tales with this razor i will not be purchasing it again thanks for saving me money and agony
I’m with all of you who would like to see a class action suit for fraud.
I wish I had read these reviews first. I bought the razor at Walmart yesterday. It doesn’t shave with a darn. I shave my face and head every day. I was usinig a Shick Quartro but thought I would try this thing. Wish I hadn’t. Shaved today and it felt like it wa pulling my hair out. I went over my face three times and I still have stubble.
I get better shaves from the Bic razors than with this one.
Ok I LOVE THIS RAZOR! If you get legs wet first then use a scrub first to get dead cells off and shaving cream it works great. Need to place razor blades flat to the skin and move against hair growth. I had a smooth shave that lasted 2 days. So I am hooked have used it twice with great results. I work at Lafuma Usa in Denver Colo. SO NO I DO NOT WORK FOR THE COMPANY!
Total POS. I’ve received better shaves from a chainsaw.
it sounds like these people would pee down your neck and tell you it was raining.thanks guys i will not be buying this product.
Just left a hateful message on their website about making arrangements for return shipping and refunds. Single edge Bics do a better job.
Your collective review, where the shills and the truth stick out like sore thumbs, is another example of Google’s search rankings working well (this was on top).
I have one word for anyone considering a razor …. GILLETTE !!!
I just got mine today and tried ie out. let me just say that it indeed sucks. I had a shadow of a beard and it hurt like hell. Do not purchase this product.
Consumer Class Action
Infinity Razor sells its razors by falsely advertising that they provide “smooth, comfortable shaves infinitely,” a class action claims in San Diego Superior Court, Vista. Also sued are BDA Industries and Concept Media Corp. dba InfoWorx.

I recived my razor as a gift from my husban 3 weeks ago. Total POS!!!! Do not buy. The blade slides off during use. It’s dull and begining to rust. Plus I haven’t been able to shave my bikini line with it, too pain full. The ” LIFETIME REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE ” states valid only after 31st day after purchase, to ship all parts back via UPS along with $6.99 S$H, then alow 6-8 weeks for prossing. I can buy 4 regular blades for that and they last longer than 31 days.
I normally do not buy these type of products on TV due to the fact that they are mostly junk and the infinity razor is no exception. First off the design is horrible, difficult to hold and especially if your hands are wet, which is most likely since you are using water and shaving cream with this product. Second and the biggest reason this product is junk is that it shaves like crap. You have to go over the same spot many times to try and get a close shave. The blade is not as sharp as they say and I cannot see it lasting that long to begin with. Forget trying to shave your head, which is what I do. I must have cut myself several times with this razor. JUNK. JUNK. JUNK. I have used all the blades and razors out there, go with the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. They are expensive, but do the job great. This Infinity is just junk. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I am sorry, I just don’t believe the so-called “positive” reviews. I did get my money back minus the way too much 9.95 shipping and handling. Getting the refund was easy, I just called them, sent it back (of course had to pay S&H) and they credited my credit card. But save yourself the money and trouble, stay away from this JUNK!
I bought mine at Wal-Mart and will return it tomorrow. Okay, it’s sharper than a butter knife — by about so much. Hey, if executioners’ axes had been this dull, Henry VIII couldn’t have disposed of his wives so easily.
As if there wasn’t enough negative feedback on here about this piece of crap, I’m going to add some more. I’ve slways hated how the razor companies rip us off by charging so much for replacement blades. They charge almost as much for replacements as they do for the razor itself which usually comes with a couple extras blades. That being said, I was really interested in trying out the Infinity and although I was a bit skeptical, I hoped that at the very least I would be satisfied enough with the product that I would be able to use it and save some cash in the long run. NOT THE CASE!!! It felt like the hair was being ripped out of my face and it cut the shit out of me. I was about halfway through my shave when I just had to quit and use my Fusion. What made things worse is that even though my face was beat to shit, I had to go back over everything because the Infinity left parts rough and uneven. I guess if you’re into pain or self mutilation this is the product for you. Otherwise, stick with what you have because no matter what it is, it’s better than the Infinity.
I bought the Infinity at Rite Aid, as it was on clearance for just a few bucks. The carbon steel injected blade is what caught my interest, as well as the super low price. I’d have to agree that it is a worthless piece of junk. It is not the slightest bit ergonomic, as the head doesn’t swivel like my old Mach III. The handle is extremely curved, and it seems to make it harder to maneuver. The blades do clog up often, as I have read on several posts above. I had to finish with my old Mach III, which shaved much more smoothly than the Infinity Razor. I use Trader Joe’s shaving cream, which is the only way I can get semi-decent results with this Infinity Razor, as it makes your face really slick. But the bottom line is: Stick with your Mach III razor.
THis so called razor was anything but a razor. I cannot believe I was SOOOOO STUPPID in purchasing this piece of JUNNNNKKK. I’ve never bought anything from TV and now I know why.
First of all, The entire order was placed thru and automated service. I only wanted ONE product except at the end of the call,,you kept being prompted to take more,,,IDIDDNT WANT MORE..so I HUNG UP. I figured if they could not send me just one, then I didnt want to mess with it.
Well,,,to my suprise, I recieved 4 of them in the mail about 3 weeks later. SOOO, i thought what the hell.”its the last razor I’ll ever need” and its here in front of me. I took it out and thought,,,NO WAY WILL THIS THING SHAVE. I have dull pocket knives sharper than this thing. And yet I STILLLL HAD to try it….cmon folks tell me what happened, you know what happened,,,just tell me what an idiot I am,,,,,IT WAS THE WORRRSSSSTTT SHAVE AND VERYYYY PAINFUL!!! I swear to choke the marketers of this crap and hold them down and shave every bit of hair from them with this “perfect” razor,,,except I’ll never meet them, so I’ll just rant here instead. WHATTTTAAAA RIP OFFFFFF!!
Wish I had read this site before for I too, wasted my money! Bought one for wife & her legs toasted the blades in 2 days! If it lasts a life-time, we certianly won’t be living LONG!!!
MAJOR RIP-OFF
Hi – i am very satisfied with the way this razor shaves – it has remained sharp after about 4 months of use – only problem i have is that the blade slips off and i have to put it back on :( – this shouldn’t be happening – do i have to glue the damn thing on to keep it on the handle – anyway other than having to put the blade back on i am very satisfied and would purchase it as a gift without any worries – i am shocked at the individuals that have tried it and say it is dull after one or two uses – thank goodness i didn’t get one out of that shift of workers :) tina
I got one of these razors at CVS the other day, it was on sale. It is the biggest piece of junk I have ever gotten. What I can’t understand, is how they can make the untrue statements about this razor and get away with it. I have used this razor about 4 times and it is killing my face. I have told everyone I know about this razor so that everyone knows not to buy it.
This blade is awful. I tried it with one days growth, and I would suggest it for masochists. I picked it up at a local store for $4.99. I finished with a Schick three blade that had been used four or five times. I suppose that it is called the infinity blade because it won’t ever buy this thing forever and ever again.
I’m in the minority here, but I love the razor. It does not give as close a shave as the disposables, but it absolutely infuriates me when corporations collude to make a product a “consumable”.
I bought this at a drugstore, CVS. I figured it would be pretty bogus. I have only used it a couple of times and it seems okay. The retail was $4.99. What got my attention and caused me to check the online for info is the “free trimmer” offer. The front of the package says to check inside for details, on the side it says to check the back. Neither place has anything further and no company name or address is anywhere on the package. I bought it because I thought it was funny, for $5 it is a good gag.
I bought one yesterday at CVS. I guess I am extremely sheltered in the world of razoring, best I used was Mach 3, but I havent used one of those since I left my parents tab 7 or so years ago. It shaved my incredibly hairy legs and underarms without hassle. I shave dry, maybe this is why I do not get any bumps and did not experience pulls. My disposable razors usually last 2 hairy (I have sasquatch leg hair) leg shaves TOPS. But if I only use them on underarms they last months before giving me bumps. I would not recommend it on a face because of the consistency or texture, if you will, of the blade. But for extremely hairy legs, so far, it has not had any problems… I will report back on how long the actual blade lasts. The warranty it came with says “Covered by warranty… under the instruction manual” I found this website looking for an instruction manual, I did not receive one in the package….
PS it was on sale for 4$ – not much more than a regular blade, and I like that the top slides off so you can clean behind the blade.
This razor is the worst thing I’ve ever tried to shave with. Personally, I think a rock is one up on the sharpness scale. The blades are dull right out of the package. I tried it once, then started looking for the way to return it. At least I didn’t pay the $19.99 price as the drugstore here was selling them for $4.99. I don’t feel terrible ONLY because of that.
This razor is the most worthless thing I have ever bought.
I bet a damn whiny assed liberal Obama voting democrat thought this scam up.
I am dumb dumber than dirt for falling for it.
Any person who says this razor is good and can prove it!
I WILL GIVE THEM $10,000.00 (and I am rich and can do it)
BUT I have to come to their house and verify he is shaving a beard not peach fuzz.
I am going to go after the manufacturer of this razor just because I have had enough with crap like this.

I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS SHIT
You can buy these things for 5 bucks at CVS and not have to worry about the company trying to sell you other things…
I saw the “Infinity Razor” ads and decided to try it out. I got the razor at the local drug store. Went home and tried it later that night. It pulled and was a very rough shave. I had to get my usual razor back out and it was smooth shaving again. So I thought this may be a fluke. I went back to the store and exchanged it for another new one. The same…it pulled like hell and I have a thin hair beard!
Apparently it works for some and not for others…..
The Infinity Razor is SHIT!!!!!!!
WalMart should be ashamed! I spent $9.95 plus tax on this useless “razor”. It will not shave but does a great job of pulling your hide off. Buyer Beware!
Thanks for all the reviews! Will not buy it.
I bought this razor a few months ago through Carol Wright. Maybe the razor works better for women than men because I have not had a problem. I use it every day (legs and underarms) and get a smooth shave. I don’t place the razor in the holder like it is suppose to go. The holder (which is in the shower) fills with water and I don’t want the blade to be submerged. They should have put drain holes in the bottom and the problem would not exist. I set the razor on the edge and this solved the problem, in case I forget to empty the water. I don’t think it will last years and definitely not a lifetime, but I’ve saved money already by not having to buy replacement cartridges for my old razor. I’ll keep using until it doesn’t shave well. Maybe I got lucky and receive a good one. The handle is small and curved and takes some getting used to.
I bought one of these Infinity razors on clearance at a local Eckerd drug store for only $2.49, and still feel that I got ripped off.
From the first time I used it, I didn’t get a good shave. I even tried leaving shave cream on for nearly 10 minutes to make sure my stubble was softened – and it still grabbed and pulled the hairs before hacking through them rather than cleanly cutting them.
Frankly, I’ve gotten much better shaves from disposable razors that I bought 12 for a dollar from the local dollar store.
The Infinity razor may stay as sharp as original for years, but if they can’t sharpen them enough for a decent shave, what’s the point?
Verdict: Don’t bother. Use your money for something much better. Like paying the IRS.
THIS RAZOR ABSOLUTLEY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT TAKES ME AN HOUR TO SHAVE BECAUSE AFTER EVERY PAINFUL STROKE U HAVE TO GET A QTIP AND CLEAN THE HAIR THAT IT PULLED OUT OF UR FACE OUT OF THE RAZOR! HELL ANYTHING CAN BE AS SHARP AS IT COMES WHEN ITS DULL AS HELL FROM THE GET GO! HELL IT CANT GET ANY DULLER! GO BUY A GILLETTE MACH 3 POWER!
i saw this blades for sale today at Big Lots…and i though i did some research on it before buying one.
Hurry up people the’re on sale for only $4 …… quantities are limited.
I am glad i didn’t waisted my money on this crap.
thank you.
I agree – what a piece of crap.
And the best yet: when I sent it in for a replacement, Infinity Razor “refused delivery -return to sender” and now I have the damn thing back!
I shaved once and this razor went right to the garbage! DO NOT BUY THIS RAZOR!
I bought the razor from a local store here, and it is very dull. It shaves like a razor that has been used. I would have returned it, but it just isn’t worth the trouble. I am glad i didn’t pay full retail for it, but even at $4 I still feel I got ripped off.
I got one for Christmas I have used it once and it all ready is getting rust on the blades and the strip on it is falling apart not what it says it is suppose to do, not very happy with it at all.
I bought this piece of s…. at a CVS. I see that other large chains, Wal-mart,Rite-aid, etc carry it too. How come they put their reputation at risk by being party to such a scam? Why hasn’t anybody taken them to court?
Hey everybody.
Now there’s an alternative to this infinity razor and a lot of other poorly made products intended to make your razor last longer. Try visiting razorpit.com. It really works and is a big seller right now in Europe and it will soon be available in USA and the rest of the world. So keep your head up for that!
Best regards Kristoffer
I haven’t tried it and and have no intention to ; however, it brings the simple following reflexion.
How can you expect a blade (no matter what material it’s made of) to be sharp all the time ? That’s simply impossible…
If you do not want to depend on buying blades endlessly and if you wish to keep the same razor for ever, the ONLY option you have is : Straightrazor.
So please, this commercial is just plain bull****.
I use my infinity razor as a torture device
Hi Kristoffer,
http://www.razorpit.com looks interesting, but it is not in English?

I agree about the “plants” in this review. pretty obvious. The blade is junk, it scrapes the skin and doesn’t shave all the hair. The second time I tried to use it the little white moisture strip came off and the blade continually tries to slide off the handle while using it and the little grey gripper thing poppsed right off the handle; all fell apart during 2nd use!! I looked at the guarantee (on the package it says “Lifetime Guarantee Replacement”) and it says that you have to package all the parts and write a letter and enclose $6.99 and mail it back to them at your expense. It only costs $9.99 in the first place!! What a bogus guarantee!! You can’t even see the details of the guarantee until you buy it and open the package and what it says on the outside of the package is totally misleading. Save yourself the $10.
I only shaved twice with this razor. The 2nd time was so painful, I had to return it.
Leo
Big Lots took it back. I got the $4 plus tax refunded to me at thecustomer service counter. I told them everyone on the internet says it’s a scam. I still had my receipt.
I am the distributor of RazorPit worldwide. The razorpit site now is in english.
http://www.razorpit.com
Ups, now the http://www.razorpit.com has been updated with a German and an English version!
Looks Great!
Best regards,
Morten
i just got mine also at Big Lots, at $4.00 it is worth a try. My first time using it was good, no nicks or cuts and it did a decent job. Have to wait and see how the following shaves go.
SAY NO TO INFINITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A BAD PRODUCT!!!!!!! Good thing I bought it at Wal-Mart and not online where I might of been screwed out of more money. SO TO ALL DO NOT BUY!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING ELSE.
I had to Google this because I only used it once, and now I am already looking for another razor. I don’t mind trying things, but what in the hell are they trying to sell here? This is pure JUNK!! I’ll use the stand for my next razor…….
got the infinity razor used it once shaved not too bad , second time it shaved like a Gillette that had been used for shaving wood , one terrible RAZOR , tried it a third time it pulled the hair out instead of shaving them , tossed it in the garbage then
I bought an Infinity razor at a local close out store for $2.99…and it’s a POS for all the reasons everyone else is stating…I’d get a better shave with a broken bottle!
