Not really. At least not consciously. The health factor is plenty of motivation, and the fact that this particular diet is so stupidly easy keeps me on track. Weekends are still the hard part for me, but even those are getting easier.</description>

		<description>I really wish I had your ambition...I am 21 and in college in a HUGE drinking town...that's the only thing that really holds me back. sure...call me an alcoholic, but it is sooo hard to give it up when everyone around you is constantly drinking and it doesnt help that I brew my own beer.

freshman year i weighed 165 lbs...now in my junior year...im up to 200 lbs give or take. 

My parents just built a really nice gym in our basement and I love using their treadmill when I go home, but being 3 hours away makes it tough. I know, we have a really nice gym at school here in Platteville, WI but I don't feel comfortable working out with other people. I would go home more often, but my parents live 3 hours away in Milwaukee...I feel sooo much better after I run like 3 or 4 miles but once I come back to school...all ambition is gone.

Any suggestions?</description>

		<description>Beer is a gut killer.  I used to weigh about 215, but after moving to Japan I went down to 180 after the first year with no dieting.  Just eating Japanese food and walking a hell of a lot.  After that I started actually watching what I eat and managed to get down to 170.  No matter how much I ran, or lifted, or cut calories, I couldn't get any visible abs.  Then I stopped drinking for about 3 months.  Oh, that's the problem.  I hate to say it, but at least in the initial phases of losing weight I think it's a must to stop drinking.  After you get to your goal weight you start to have one here and there.</description>

		<description>Yeah, we bought a spin bike for home.  I had already dropped ~67 pounds by that point, but the bike/X-box 360 combination has really helped knock off (and keep off) the last 20 pounds.  Additionally, the wife can't complain when I'm playing video games.</description>
