everymanjack.jpgToday’s missive from Men.Style.com details “Every Man Jack,” a new grooming line for men available at Target that aims to be the “H&M of grooming products.” Every unpretentiously-named product in the line can be had for five bucks or less, from the “Face Lotion” to the “Body Wash.” Plus Every Man Jack forgoes “potent chemicals” for “natural” cleansing agents, which hopefully means they won’t tear up your face.

Each product is available in a variety of scents, including a default minty variety, as well as cedarwood, tea tree, or fragrance-free. (If you wear cologne, the latter should be your choice.)

Expensive cremes and pomades are a rip-off, so it’ll be nice to be able to pick up a full line of grooming tinctures for under $30. We look forward to trying them out. (And if you get to them before we do, send in your impressions!)

if it’s anything like the Sharps line they used to sell, it’s just like Jack Black products.

I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.

Mint & cedarwood? Gender-specific marketing be damned - I’ll be trying this stuff.

If your local target has a “spa” area (I know, I know, it is hard to go to that area if you’re a guy) look for a tube of Proraso(sp?) it is a great shaving cream to use if you do traditional wet shaving.

Hello So I actually have bought 3 products from this line at Target. For the last 3 weeks I have used on daily basis the Face Wash, Shave Cream and Post Shave Lotion. To be honest this line has been one of the best product I have used for shaving and face care in a long long time. The Minty feeling is quite the experience. Definitely makes you feel rather very refreshed in the morning. I would recommend it for any man.

This stuff works good, I have VERY sensitive skin and feel no razor burn after the first time using the shave gel. I didn’t even need aftershave!

I’ve used mostly the Neutrogena Men products for the last couple of years. Neutrogena has constantly tweaked or even discontinued most of the products in this line, and they are a little expensive. Anyway, I’ve switched from the Neutrogena shave gel to the EMJ shave cream and like it MUCH better. It makes my face feel really good after shaving and doesn’t dry out my skin (a real problem for me). The only thing I don’t like about the shave cream is that it doesn’t rinse out of the razor very well (I use Schick Extreme 3). After I finish up the Neutrogena face scrub and post-shave lotion I already have, I’m going to try the EMJ face wash and lotion.

I started using EMJ products when they first hit Target in April and they are awesome!!! I have completely switched from products with dyes and parabens to natural products, and EMJ fits the bill. They feel great and my wife likes them, as well. She has had Lyme Disease for over 10 yeras and a lot of after shaves she can’t stand to be around because of a greater sensitivity to certain smells. EMJ goes with herbal deodorants just fine!!Thanks for making such great products!!!

Thanks for all the reviews! I have been using the Neutrogena products for Men as well and can never find them in the stores anymore. I was looking at the EMJ products at Target last night and regret that I didn’t give them a try so am heading there to pick some up!
    Thanks!

In case anyone is interested in trying these products, I found small sample sizes in our local target store. Most Targets, (at least here in the Twin Cities) have a section of the store where you can purchase small “trial size” (sometimes also referred to as “travel size”) samples of many products (including the EMJ line) to see if you like them without spending more. This is what I did with the aftershave lotion and was so impressed overall that I am now buying the full sized versions of many of their products. TRY IT…you won’t regret it!!!!!
And no, I didn’t get paid by EMJ to write this review.

I just picked up some of the Minty Face Scrub and must say after one try it feels great. Doesn’t leave my face dry and smells great while cleaning. Based on others comments I’ll have to check out the rest of the line. I’ve been using Nivea line for years but since shopping a bit more at Target lately, I may travel this road
