It was almost there, just not quite. Part of that may be that this is the first time I've seen it, and it's starting season 6, but some of the direction and acting just didn't cut it for me. I've heard really good things about it, just never seen it until now. It was pretty good for non-HBO/Showtime TV, but not great. I have no idea why a show about a bunch of (presumably) smelly dudes, heavy stuff, fish parts, and severely cold/wet conditions appeals to me so much... but it does. It really, really does.
