Sorry, ladies! Bao Xishun, Mongolian shepherd and the world’s tallest man, is no longer an eligible bachelor.

At 7′9″, Xishun received worldwide attention last December when he was called to duty to save the lives of two dolphins who had swallowed pieces of plastic. His 41.7″ long arms were the only tools capable of effectively reaching down the dolphins’ alimentary canals and into their stomachs.

His sudden celebrity status begot a search for a spouse for the unmarried hero; notices were posted worldwide. In the end, however, he has married a girl half his age from his own hometown of Chifeng, Mongolia. The blushing bride, Xia Shujian, is two full feet shorter than Xishun, and at 28 years old is half his age.
