I feel that something in the air made people strange there...not literally something in the air, but certainly there was a something about the people and their attitude that sets the place apart-and not in a good way. Sometimes it seemed like the cruel and dark places in people's hearts were the things that grew and took over. Its so hard to describe preciscely what I mean, unless you have lived it. I grew up in WI and lets just say, it wasn't all a good experience. Besides, if you want proof...Wisconsin has made the list with some of the most notorious serial killers of all time...and in a very creepy way...Dahmer, Gein... I think its the winters! I suspect that the freakouts that happen in the sunnier states are the result of overstimulation and the resulting fried circuits; whereas in a state like wisconsin, it's more the result of isolation, coupled with just plain psychic slime that the area seems to be saturated with.
