Fall Fashion Preview: Cover Up Your Hideous Face!

Lisbon-based Croatian fashion designer Lidija Kolovrat is yet another in a long, long line of fashion designers emplying stunts to garner attention and scandalous press to get her name out.
This week’s Fall/Winter fashion show in Lisbon featured her new line, which we didn’t get to see; the real story is about her male models’ faces, which we also didn’t get to see—they were all covered up.
Can’t see this as being a practical style to pitch. On the other hand, if a model’s face is butt-fugly and yet his build is perfect for couture gear, by god, this is his day!

The first guy is the ugliest man I have never seen! He has to be smuggling some apples or pears under that awful ski mask/scarf. Disgusting.
And as for pinecone-head man, well, how can you not see the practicality of wearing that in public? It demands respect, and by jove, I’ll catch hell if it doesn’t!
