Certainly there are some clunkers in this lot of ten shirts and tie sets from “Eterno Italy”—that orange-and-orange bit looks like a fast food uniform—but when you can get the whole set for just a hundred bucks it’s sort of hard to complain. There is also a lot of twenty for $175—an even cheaper per-unit rate, Captain Math.

I just cleaned out my closet today and I’m not about to fill it up again with stuff I’m not sure about, but man. For a single bill you could kickstart an entire work wardrobe that, while not exactly the height of chic, is okay. If, that is, this Eterno stuff is any sort of quality. Anybody know (or willing to take the plunge and report back)? It’s clearly not a premium brand, as another place selling Eterno online seems to sell the sets for about $25 a pop.

The shirts may be OK, and it would be almost impossible to get that many dress shirts for that price, but cheap ties, are just that cheap. They may say its silk, and it may be, but it is all in the construction. Also, a cheap shirt will look like crap after 1 wear because they never hold up, the collars wrinkle and they are a pain to press.

It might be worth it if the shirts alone are decent, but make sure you can return them if you get them and they look terrible.

Shipping is $48! That significantly reduces the value of the deal. Still theoretically a good price….but more than I’m willing to pay for margianl quality.

I contacted the seller yesterday about the crazy shipping ($83 for the 20-shirt lot, by the way), and they told me that they would refund the excessive shipping charges. For some reason, they have their per-pound rate on Amazon set to $7.00, which might make sense if you’re buying a single item, but scales poorly. They’re in Vancouver BC, if you want to calculate how much postage should eb and negotiate with them. They seem like nice enough folks.

I do still wonder about the quality of the shirts, but they do have a reasonable return policy.

shirt/tie combos make you look like a dude who wears shirt/tie combos (one step above “I still live with my mommy”)

I’d still like to see how these really look, though… I was just looking for a decent review. Send me an email if you ever decide to buy some!

I have purchased several of these shirt sets for my husband who is an attorney. We have been happy with the quality of the shirts. The ties are ok, but nothing to scream about. But hey, sometimes you get surprised and actually get a few that you really like. When you compare similar products, these really are a good deal and they last several years if properly cared for. Hopefully this helps. Give them a try.

I looked into these more and they are actually made in China. You can import them for $6 a piece or so. Still a marginal markup if they are not bad. I am tempted to try them just to see. If they are OK then that is a great deal.

These shirts are actually really nice. I work in the formal industry and purchase for my stores.
These shirts are great! We don’t sell them, however. The collars are nice and sturdy and so are the cuffs. As with any article of clothing, you need to take care of it. You don’t need collar stays, which is always nice. I’ve worn some of the shirts 30+ times and never ironed the collar and never used starch. Watch out for the shipping though, that seems way out of wack!!!

Nice shirts. I have been reselling them for a year now and no complaint from customer. I am not so happy with the shipping cost though. An the seller takes a long time to communicate with buyers(I am not sure if they have improved) More request are coming in for my shirt though.

I’ve bought em, and I’ll buy them again. The shirts in the picture are not the shirts you get from the 10 pack. As a matter of fact, I didn’t get *any* of the shirts pictured, which I expected. Actually, I had hoped for it.

I’m very happy with the quality of all the shirts and ties, and there are only two ties that conflict with my personal taste, but all and all, I’m VERY pleased.

If you are curious, from my 10 pack I was sent:

    1 Pure white shirts
1 white shirt with a black stripe on the caller and cuff (actually I like this shirt most, the stripe is well played)
1 Heavy grey shirt (not solid, but various shades threaded through, 9 out of my 11 shirts are typical light dress shirts, but the other two are going to be nice in winter)
2 Olive green. (slightly lighter, but I like it well enough, and I’m not a colorful person, and one has a creme under-caller)
1 light blue shirt (with a creme colored under caller that pokes out about an eighth of an inch, I almost hated the shirt until that won me over)
1light blue, yellow, grey, white stripes (actually they are all muted so they look like very similar colors)
    1 black shirt
1 red, black, and dark grey striped shirt (this one is heavy too, but I like it)
    1 goldenrod yellow

Couldn’t tell you which tie came with which shirt, but if you are worried about the crazy colors, the goldenrod is the craziest one I got, and I’s actually a very nice shirt

I decided to take a big risk, and I ordered 30 of these shirts from http://eternoshirts.com. When the package arrived, I opened it up and my first thought was, “wow, not too shabby”. These shirts are of mediocre quality, but a shirt, tie, and tie clip for $12.50 is a fantastic find. If you care a lot about the quality of your clothes, I would shop elsewhere. If you are just interested in building a quick nice wardrobe, then they are a good buy. Here is the catch… Of the thirty I ordered, only 8 were different shirts while the rest doubled up. Needless to say, I kind of feel scammed. I knew some would double up, but I expected at least 20 different shirts. Eight is a little slim if you ask me. Here are the colors I received…

7 White Shirts w/ same tie (these are a little thin, kinda see through)
6 Black Shirts w/ same tie
2 Red Shirts w/ same tie
4 Tan Shirts w/ same tie
4 Dark Blue Shirts w/ same tie
3 Light Blue Shirts w/ same tie as the dark blue set
2 Light Green Shirts w/ same tie
2 Grey Shirts w/ same tie

If you are going to gamble on a large lot, make sure you have a like sized friend to split them with or be ready to sell your doubles.
