AP Release: The mayor of NYC is supporting an initiative to curb both the homeless and pigeon problem in the city. Homeless will be given a debit card of sorts, in exchange for every pigeon they capture and turn in to various mobile pirgon homes parked around midtown, they will be rewarded with a $.25 credit on their card. Homeless rights activists are outraged, but the mayor contests this will “give the homeless something to do”.
