Til Death Do Us Part

prehistoricloveap.jpgHow timely the discovery of two untimely deaths; about 25 miles south of the very town where Romeo courted Juliet, two skeletons locked in an embrace have just been found, preserved intact from the Neolithic age.

The possibility of a “sudden and tragic death” seems to be in strong suspicion, adding more drama and emotional impact to the find.

Little has yet been discerned of the couple’s story, though one theory suggests that they may be related. DNA testing will be conducted to confirm or refute the possibility. One thing is known for sure—in bones of this age, the fact that both skeletons have all their teeth ensures that they died young.

Come to think of it, I wouldn’t mind being found this way in five or six thousand years.

Why drag romance into this? Maybe they were trying to strangle each other and died that way?
