Apparently the NFL will not permit the many Indiana-area churches to host large screen Super Bowl viewing parties this Sunday.
The NFL has a very strict policy against “mass out-of-home viewings”, and the House That God Built is no exception.
At least a few churches in the area intend to defy the NFL’s requests. One wonders if the National Football League would actually have the audacity to sue them if the churches follow through.

one one hand I dont think church is the proper venue for a sports event
smashing the other teams face into goo, is not exactly love thy neighbor
oh wait what am I saying most of the popular religions are incredibly violent…
it would be funny if the NFL did sue
a nice divide would form on how to properly spend your sundays
maybe I should leave this subject alone
way too many zealots for both religion and football…
I mean, what is the harm?
The interesting question is how the NFL will react to my church that is based around the belief that Bill Belichick was sent from heaven to bring the New England region into the promised land. Watching Pats game is an integral part of said religion!
