Barbeque Association Wants Us to Barbeque; We Can’t Argue

I am always amused when a new marketing association discovers Dethroner, both because it’s a little sign we’re moving in the right direction (depending on what they’re marketing, I guess) and also because I learn about yet another obscure federation of promotion. Case in point: The Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association, or HPBA, would like you to know that Super Bowl Sunday is the most popular grilling day of the year! So you can… grill more?
Rachelle Lacroix, who surely has one of the best jobs in American—she promotes BBQ for god’s sake—did remind me that tail-gating has been banned at Dolphin Stadium this year, which is fucking criminal. Sitting out in the parking lot cooking food is almost as good as watching the game.
The point of this post: none, except that I need to buy a grill that I can clamp to the back of our apartment in violation of every New York fire code. Good job, Rachelle!
