Sharp-eyed readers may have noticed that Dethroner isn’t a one-man concern anymore. I’m pleased to introduce our new Associate Editor, Alex Colby.
He’s held many jobs over the years, including: assistant manager of a Benetton, horse-and-carriage driver, bartender, bouncer, pizza thrower, housing director, DJ, hairstylist, runway model, actor, and personal bodyguard. He has potty trained a small child, which he considers to his crowning achievement.
While his father’s family business was in cemeteries, he knows nothing about this line of work.
Besides being a great writer, Alex also happens to be one of the most stylish motherfuckers I know, comfortable in the whole spectrum from classic worsted to industrial-grade taffeta.
He doesn’t drink gin and he doesn’t like rabbits. He is currently based in Astoria, Queens.
Please join me in welcoming Alex to the team by telling him what an idiot he is for hating football.
