What Are Your Projects This Weekend?

Share ThisI was in the process of installing a game on my PC when the whole thing locked up; a reboot showed no boot drive, which can only mean The Curse is back. Fortunately, I don’t keep any real important data on my Windows box, but I’ll be spending most of tomorrow tearing down the machine, trying to replace a drive, reinstalling Windows, and building all my programs back. It’s my favorite thing to ever do ever ever, which is why The Curse requires that I do it at least twice a year. (On the plus side, it’s always a good opportunity for me to catch up with the latest software, so it’s not all bad.)
How about you guys? Any projects to keep you warm inside this winter weekend? (Or warm outside!)
We are showing our apartment, so my big project is to make sure it stays clean.
Also, lots of football.
I’m working out the kinks with my blog which is currently in “beta”, nearing official launch in a few days.
Other than that, it looks like a weekend of videogaming at NYCLAN.net and maybe a little b-ball to keep these soon to be 33yo limbs limber.
After I moved back east, I reclaimed some guns that had been left with my parents and have accumulated another. I felt like it was time to build a rack (hey, I live in the woods, I can have a gun rack). Spent yesterday afternoon and today building it, and the results:
