I’ve never really watched Fifth Gear, the spin-off of Clarkson & Co.’s Top Gear, except for a segment here and there—can’t say I’ve been overly impressed. (What can I say? I find Clarkson’s smarmy twat routine charming.) However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with these stunt driving segments from Fifth Gear on YouTube (as compiled by MeFite Eideteker), showing how to execute handbrake turns [above], Rockford Fozgates, two-wheel balancing and more.

Take a hint from instructor Tiff Needell and be sure to practice all these moves in a car you don’t own—preferably a rental.

Five more clips after the jump, some practical, some not.

Hey, Joel, can I borrow your car?

I’m watching this by a window. Opposite me is an Avis outlet and a multi-level car park. And it’s evening so the traffic is low. Why doth the temptation rise so much?
