ShareYourLook.com: Web 2.0 “Dapper or Crapper”

ShareYourLook.com is a sort of Web 2.0 version of Dethroner’s own Dapper or Crapper. Post a picture of your outfit online and let other Share Your Lookers comment and judge to their hearts’ content.
For obvious reasons, I think the concept is solid, but I despise Share Your Look’s decision to restrict access to submissions to those who sign up for an account. Do I really need to give them my personal information to browse submissions for new ideas, to pass on outfits to my friends to discuss, or even to vote? Imagine the restricted usefulness of Flickr if you could only pass around images to members.
Nevertheless, it’s got potential. I would consider moving “Dapper or Crapper” to Share Your Look entirely if I could easily link submissions to the internet at large. In the meantime, keep those submissions coming.

I registered with the site. Frankly, I think there’s a whole lot of noise to signal in there. Unless I haven’t figured the thing out, there’s no way to search for anything I want.
The people on there are too busy playing fashion model to put anything relevant in their tags. It’s like MySpace for Pradaphiles. It’s just so much self-adulation, it makes me barf.
Maybe it’ll mature. I hope it does. It’s a great concept.
Don’t even abandon “Dapper or Crapper” on this site, though. We can actually engage in intelligent discussion and dissection as opposed to comments like “OMG! WOAW! HOT! PRADA!”.
I intend to keep Dapper or Crapper around as long as it’s useful. That said, not very many people have the balls to make submissions, it seems!
Is that a challenge? ;P
