Cigarette odor is a sticky problem, to remove it will be so hard. If you are smoke in your car and can’t to remove it. I have some tips :

Step 1
First you'll have to thoroughly clean your car. Sprinkle baking soda liberally on all carpets and seats, work into the carpet with your hands, let set overnight. Vacuum out all carpets and seats very thoroughly.

Step 2
Spray a disinfectant, or Febreeze, or air freshener very liberally under the dash while running the air conditioner and then the heater.

Step 3
Place two cups of aquarium charcoal in paper lunch bag, fold over and staple or tape shut. Place one under each seat to absorb odors.

And you know what? In a feeble effort to both save money and my lungs, I started smoking only half a cigarette.
The stench from a lit/put out cigarette is down right embarrassing...I finally had to explain to everyone where that SMELL was coming from. Ew.
So now I get small cigs, smoke them until my throat is dry, and put the effers out.
No "saving" half a cigarette for later.
My car and all my clothes had to cleaned up due to that smell...it DOES linger.
