Summer may be driving season for some, but for me Fall was the best time for driving; leaving vortexes of leaves around every corner as your engine sucks in the cool air. Of course, my driving days are now over, my beloved car sacrificed to the convenience of not having a car in New York, city of weekly parking ticket traps masquerading as “street sweeping.”
Help me live vicariously through the other 95% of you out there who drive every day for business or pleasure. We’ll discuss basic car maintenance, the best time to purchase a car, and tips for making you a better driver during both rush hour and the hours when you’re driving just for the rush.
If you’ve got some wisdom to pass on, please send your tips and questions, as well as your favorite car and driving stories and maintenance short cuts.
Yes, Mike, I’ll be expecting you to help a lot this week.
